Location - There was plenty to do in the area of the hotel. The food could be warmer when served from the restaurant.

Location.efficient welcome by lucy at 930pm.Then it went down hill...... No heating in bathroom on a cold night;dispenser ineffective for washing face;mattress was tired(it bottomed ,and I am only 13 stone). On holiday...and being rushed through breakfast....i felt as if I was in an army camp. The waitress actually cleared toasts and breads almost before we had sated our main hot meal....and was un apologetic for doing it...."we close at 9.00am you know".....this is riduculous in a hotel that looks for leisure visitors!!!! I noticed afterwards that the chef wandered around chatting to other staff....and we suffered in silence with no toast to complete our breakfast. This sadly was the image with which we left the hotel.....it was run for the staff ....not us the paying guests.... We will not be recommending the premier group hotels to our friends.... Ps my daughter's room had truckle beds that hardly cleared the floor and are so low as to be only suitable for children ....this sounds like mis selling to me.....

Friendly staff. Good location. Some of our group did not have rooms made up. Water was off due to a pipe burst. Not the fault of the hotel but had little back up for showers etc.

Comfortable, spacious room. Friendly staff. Didn't like ground-floor room next to pathway - had to draw the curtains in the day-time for privacy several times (minor point) jouit soap/shampoo dispenser in shower, which I had to dismantle to get contents out associated pub restaurant was adequate but not very inviting

Easy to find, good access to Stockport and Manchester. Adjoining pub was nice. Walls between rooms were paper thin, which made the rooms feel less private.

Convenient location and good value for money. Hotel and related restaurant, Old Refrectory, do NOT honor or respect the handicapped parking spaces they clearly mark. Even some of the staff park their cars in the handicapped spaces!

Welcoming and personable staff (inobtrusive yet on hand to help if needed) Conveniently located, comfortable accomodation for couple and child under 5. Quiet, secure and easilly accessible room. Plentiful parking, with easy access to room, reception and restaurant. On site restaurant offerning a good selection of breakfasts and meals. Located within easy walking distance of local historic market and other places of interest, however due to shortness of stay and familly comitments did not have the opportunity to explore on this occassion. Double bed a little on the short size for adults over 5feet (feet hanging over the end of the bed) Bath small
