The decor, the bed, the shower, the cleanliness of the room, peaceful and very pleasant staff. I stayed here a year ago, and WHAT a change. Excellent place, will be back for sure.
Stayed for 1 night with my daughter. Staff were very friendly and room was spotlessly clean. Close enough to town if you have some time to spare.
Clean, comfortable room with all the facilities needed. Bar with real ale and good value restaurant.
Staff and comfortable room
Staff are always friendly, rooms are immaculate. Great pub next door. Best Premier Inn I've stayed at.
THE ROOM WAS LOVELLY,AND SO WAS THE STAFF, ESPECIALY THE RECEPITION GIRLS
1,first morning bacon was not grilled covered in fat.2 floor area in mens loo was slippery, no sign up to warn you.3 the price was very high because we came at short notice
Comfortable bed and clean room. Friendly and helpful staff. Good variety at breakfast. Excellent for a short stay.
Very satisfied on the whole but a more comfortable chair and perhaps an extra chair in the room would have been welcome.
Wait at reception while staff ensured rooms were available. This should have been sorted earlier. Did not arrive untill 1500
Everything was perfect. Ten out of Ten all the way.
Spacious, clean room. Fantastic shower. Decent enough pub next door serving food. Close enough to the town centre.
Nothing the hotel can do about this but it was quite noisy due to the proximity of the flight path to/from Manchester Airport.
really comfortable and clean room + nice english breakfast
lovely staff, very helpful. nice clean room. loved everything.
Nice building , very close to the town
The cleaners in the morning were very noisy
The Breakfast facilities completely undermines the otherwise excellent standards seen throughout the Hotel. This specifically relates not to the Full English breakfast option but to the Continental option. The LOGISTICS of the operation are clearly designed to save on staff time and costs. And as a man, I suspect it has been determined by a man, and not a woman ! You are constantly obliged to return to the `Breakfast table` in between stages,ie, cereals/toasts etc/ drinks. There is a lack of appropriate items,eg, trays, saucers, teaspoons, small teapots, small milkjugs etc. It is NOT a case of staff not providing these items. `You are spoiling the ship for a hapeth of tar !` Please come back to me on this. It is a serious defect in an otherwise excellent facility.
Staff-excellent Room-great Food - above average
Nothing-apart from I forgot to take my IPad charger when I checked out of my room, and when I called reception a few hours later, having realised, I was told it hadn't been found :(
Friendly helpful staff Clean, comfortable and modern rooms. Good town centre location.
Nothing. I would recommend staying here.
The room was bright, clean and very comfortable and much bigger than I had expected. The bed was indeed very comfortable and lived up to the advertisements. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, Premier Inn is let down by the breakfasts which are served in the pub next door. On the first morning we had to wait for at least 10 minutes to be served. Most of the continental breakfast on offer had run out. The fruit on offer looked past its best. The room is dirty with the carpets looking as though they should be deep cleaned or thrown out. There was food on the floor and a dirty spoon on the windowsill. although the outside area of the Premier Inn was clear of rubbish and well cared for, this was not true of the pub. It's a shame because Premier Inn exceeded our expectations.
Recently refurbished, this is probably one of the best Premiers we have stayed in. Excellent breakfast cooked to order.
I was charged £7.00 more than what was stated on my email . I was told someone would get back to me within the next week. Never happened, and I am still out of pocket. Disappointed as I stay often in premier inn. I am lead to believe my custom is not important. Premier inn you have let me don't.
The hotel was newly refurbished and modern. Very good selection of food for breakfast.
The room was very cold even though the heating was turned up. The shower 'pulsed', running fast then slow, very annoying. There were hairs in the bath. I couldn't get my door to lock properly so I put a chair against the door. The food in the restaurant was awful. I ordered steak baguette. The bread was dry, the steak was just fat that I couldn't even chew through and the onions were just chopped up & raw, (I thought they would b cooked). I need to stay in this area another 3tines in the next couple of months but I don't think I will choose a premier inn. Definitely wasn't worth the money I paid.
Bar area and service there was poor.
late check in being no problem
Can be a little more affordable as rates increase if it's busy and it only facilitates if slightly less expensive to stay near work
huge room, kids enjoyed the space - i would have liked a bath but the shower was very good. I liked that the TV volume was set low. lighting was great for one of our children sleeps with the light on, so the blue light above the bed was just the job. we will be booking again
Hotel and restaurant staff mostly very helpful. Breakfast excellent (included). Bedroom newly and nicely decorated. Bed. comfortable. Parking excellent.
New wardrobe hard to access. Bathroom a bit cramped. No lift (but only 1 floor). Hotel not well signed. Entrance of our separate building very tacky (I imagine it is being fixed) and some evidence of on-going works.
There is litle to be enthusiastic about. A Premier Inn occupies a niche and that niche is generally neither particularly good nor bad.
I was unimpressed when I went into the restaurant at 1930 hrs on Sunday 02 Feb. waiting to be seated I was asked by a staff member 'are you alright love?' i assured her that I was fine. She immediately turned and sat the 2 people in the queue behind me. As it happened a 30 minute wait for food was unattractive so I did not bother. The room was frezing and I had to ask for an additional heater.
