Score from 98 reviews Very good
Good value for money, helpful staff and well prepared food.
The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and comfortable and all newly refurbished which was a bonus. Location was good, an easy stroll to the train station and 10min ride to Manchester making it a convinient and cost effective way of staying in Manchester.
I thought the bed was too hard, we were fine but it would make me re-think booking a Premier Inn had i been travelling with my parents - who can't cope with rock hard beds. A foam mattress topper would have made a significant difference.
Great location and the staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Bev
Very disappointed that there is no bath
i liked the service from reception to house keeping everone one wasvery helpful car parking for deisabled was very good
the english weather
The location, the bed and pillows were so comfy. All the staff friendly and polite. Breakfast was nice and hot with plenty of choice, free parking. Cannot fault this hotel at all.
Good clean friendly
We stayed in summer and the price had gone up a lot for some reason
The room was nice and clean and the bed was big and spacious. Excellent service all around and great breakfast.
The mattress was on the firm side for me however perfect for my partner. The spare bed mattress seamed hard but my son slept very well.
Booking.com has incorrectly given our details as being 2 adult and no children. I clearly booked a room fro 2 adults and 2 children. So the problem was indeed created by the booking.com and was rectified by the hotel staff. This should have not happened.
Staff very friendly, Lovely Clean Room, Comfortable Bed, Great Town Centre Location, Quiet too
Restaurant area is understaff
We stayed in the out-building. The rooms were so quiet. We are both very light sleepers, yet managed to have a solid nights sleep (which we always struggle with when staying in a hotel).
Excellent check in, male receptionist very welcoming, ordered taxi for us.
Our super king bed was actually two single beds pushed together with an awful connection in the middle which you couldn't lay on. Husband was displeased about this and it affected his sleep as he kept rolling onto this uncomfortable connection. The following morning when making the bed while straightening the duvet cover sheet we discovered dried blood stains at the bottom of the actual duvet, not a very nice sight! We were initially going to complain about this but upon checking out the receptionist was more busy keeping her child in check behind the counter, who I'm sure should not of been there!
It was close to where we needed to be.
The bathroom even though clean it was very small. The fire alarm going off in the middle if the night and having to go outside in extreme cold n it taking forever to turn off. I would have compensated my guests with a free breakfast but hey it's only your reputation at risk.
All staff so friendly and helpful Great on sight bar and restaurant Can't recommend it enough 5 stars well done
Room - as usual.
The owners of the restaurant (Not 'Premier') have been able to dictate opening hours for example early risers and/or leaving early means no breakfast - as at other Premier outlets we've visited - not good.
Staff were exceptionally welcoming on arrival and we found friendliness throughout our stay.
Very friendly and helpful staff, gorgeous room, fantastic bed and nites sleep. Great meal and atmosphere in the fayre and square pub nice car parking all in all a lovely overnight stay.
Very friendly and helpful staff Great room, very clean. A very nice evening meal and great breakfast, good value for money. I have already booked a stay at Premier Inn in Manchester next year.
Can't fault it.
Near the train station The reception was excellent
We loved the size of our room!
The noise from the planes flying over in middle of night
We were welcomed and given the information we required without having to wait around. The staff were friendly and professional but also funny. The room was clean and welcoming. It was central. The breakfast was great and plenty of choice. we had a meal when we arrived and that was good too and the service friendly without being too fussy. An easy walk to a good shopping precinct and market. I left a jacket behind luckily we hadn't traveled far so turned around. my jacket was in reception waiting for me.
There was nothing to dislike for us we didn't even have to leave the building to reach the restaurant.
Restaurant big, empty and lacking in atmosphere.
Room clean but simple, everything I needed. Really great value for money. Great location a couple of minutes walk to town. Reception staff were very friendly.
The breakfast was rubbish, badly laid out and a bit dirty and tired. Ordered a espresso coffee which never arrived. Staff seemed overwhelmed. The restaurant needs an upgrade.
Very friendly staff. Spotlessly clean and newly renovated. Very comfortable bed.
No phone in room. No fridge in room- usual in Europe??
Loved the choice of pillows... & a lovely, spacious, clean & dark room..
