Bed, reasonable room size, ceramic mugs instead of paper for tea and glasses for water. Decent sized bathroom for a budget hotel - with a bath, not just a shower. Breakfast at Beefeater was generous.
Beefeater not so good for evening meal. Staff welcoming but menu limited - it's a grill, so grilling and frying take the centre stage. More expensive than it should be.
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
Duvet cover was a bit soiled; Temperature control and tower rail were not working.
Noisy neighbours...no wifi
clean fresh bed
noisy rooms due to flooring in hallways and rooms
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Selection of breakfast was good
Mattresses could have been a bit firmer.
All the staff were very friendly from reception, late night porter, cleaners and breakfast staff
Friendly check in staff
Receptionist Alison was incredibly helpful!
location - can walk to Queens campus along the river car park
Travelled with a friend and would have liked 2 double beds, not 1 double 1 single
Comfortable bed, car parking and good wifi. The steak in the restaurant was very good.
Breakfast had to wait over 15 minutes after ordering, staff very busy. Luckily I was up much earlier than planned as the insomniac elephant in the room above made great use of the squeaky floor boards ! Complained but lets see if the guaranteed good night or your money refunded stands up to the test. Over to you Lenny.
Location and staff
Quite expensive for the location
Room smelled like a hospital Detol desinfective stuff, Location in the middle of nowhere
I didn't like the way the staff spoke to you!
Noisy No air conditioning Needs renovating
The only thing I liked about my visit was seeing tom baxter at the arc. I would not say at a premier inn again
When we arrived at the hotel my husband informed them he had abad foot and could we have a room near to the entrance. we was given room 42 which was at the other end of the hotel which we found was a very long way we said that we was unhappy with this, but the staff did not change the room.
nice location, helpfull friendly staff ,clean and comfortable, secured entrance door at night ,lovely well presented breakfast ,good choice and served by lovely staff ,a good value nights stay.
everything was very good .no complaints
overall the premier inn in Stockton on Tees was fine. i had a good nights sleep and the location was convenient for taking my daughter to university. I do think that it is overpriced with respect to the fact that all you get is a bed for the night and there are no other facilities.
Staff were friendly, helpful and the hotel was clean and tidy.
Large room, plenty of space, all disability requirements met.
Room temp was stuck on 24.5. And would not reduce no matter what we tried. There was a fan in the room? Tried it and had to get up and turn it off when trying to sleep. Window was open put made no difference. So had a bad night due to the room being HOT.
The staff on reception were very nice and friendly.
The toilet was broken. The room was a disabled room which we did not ask for, and we found the toilet was broken so we were moved to another disabled room and we are not disabled. If any people did come in with a disability, there may not have had an appropriate room
Location was really good, not far from all things
Most uncomfortable nights sleep at a premier inn, very disappointed but the receptionist was very good and gave a full refund.
The location was in a nice quiet area.
The bed for a disabled person to get onto from a wheelchair was difficult as the bed was too low. The mattress was too hard and made us have a restless/sleepless night. There wasn't enough room in the doorways/corridors for a wheelchair to turn comfortably.
Convenience of being right where we needed to be.
Food next door is not great. Long wait when they're busy. Breakfast however is better. Just.
We reported a problem with the TV on the Saturday morning. The staff tried to fix it but could not. It was going to be an engineer call out which could not be done until the following week. How do we claim our first night stay back in line with the guarantee?
