Staff were friendly, helpful and the hotel was clean and tidy.
Large room, plenty of space, all disability requirements met.
Room temp was stuck on 24.5. And would not reduce no matter what we tried. There was a fan in the room? Tried it and had to get up and turn it off when trying to sleep. Window was open put made no difference. So had a bad night due to the room being HOT.
Location was really good, not far from all things
Most uncomfortable nights sleep at a premier inn, very disappointed but the receptionist was very good and gave a full refund.
The location was in a nice quiet area.
The bed for a disabled person to get onto from a wheelchair was difficult as the bed was too low. The mattress was too hard and made us have a restless/sleepless night. There wasn't enough room in the doorways/corridors for a wheelchair to turn comfortably.
Convenience of being right where we needed to be.
Food next door is not great. Long wait when they're busy. Breakfast however is better. Just.
We reported a problem with the TV on the Saturday morning. The staff tried to fix it but could not. It was going to be an engineer call out which could not be done until the following week. How do we claim our first night stay back in line with the guarantee?
Greet night guranteed offer which if you were not comfortable the staff will try to solve the issues or give your money back. Actually we had great and quiet night and enjoy the stay. Location good with nice riverside view and ASDA supermarket was 2 minutes away by walking distance. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially Anison who is smiling and offer help and make you feeling home .also Luise she tried to help us many times especially we are new to Stockton and has no friends but they were extremely helpful . The room is quite and cleaned daily unless you don't want it to be cleaned . Houskeeper supervisor ( Dian ) always available and providing us what we need . I really enjoy the stay and extend it one week more and highly recommend it for visitor or student who still search for permenant home such as my case . Because it is good and safe hotel for family .
No refregarator available . The nearest restaurant was costy.
The location for the Tees Barrage International White Water Centre is excellent, a short walk and you're on the course. Supermarkets etc are also a short walk away, as is Thornaby station. For anything else, it's a drive, but access to major roads is simple. The adjoining restaurant is large and of good quality, although service can be very slow.
The room was stifling hot, although they had provided a fan and a sheet to replace the duvet. Being in room 1 meant every guest banged past our room and through the fire doors which slammed. Noise from the car park was high too, which meant no open window for us. At 5am every morning, someone went out and back along the corridor - an early morning cigarette perhaps - and that was the night's sleep over with.
Improved visuals, room size and breakfast offered.
Toilet paper missing and replaced when informed. Noisey people outside window in evening.
Perfect location. Large comfortable family room. Convenient ground floor room. Very clean. Extra pillows and sheets. Friendly staff. Fast check in. Good price.
You can't really go wrong with premier inns and there's a few in stockton but this one has the best location. Set away from the road it's a quieter location than the others we saw and the restaurant next door is very nice.
Only downsides was cleanliness wasn't quite as it could be as someone else's shower gel was still splodged across the tiles and being on the ground floor we were disturbed a lot by the upstairs guests. The floor creaks with every movement and we were unfortunate enough to get noisy guests above us. If you can I'd ask for an upstairs room to avoid having to listen to guests (to put it politely) 'bouncing on the bed'
From first contact at reception. Alison, very efficient and helpful a great advert for the hotel and the company. Used Beefeater Restaurant on her recommendation, Was not disappointed same helpful staff and good food at a reasonable price. This style of hotel would not be our usual choice, we were more than surprised at the quality of the facilities and helpfulness of the stall in all areas. Will use this hotel the group in future for this type of break.
No complaints .
Extremely friendly staff. Great location - miss the town centre traffic and a pleasant walk on the river bank into the centre
near to walking facilities into stockton and the shopping centre didnt need to move car at all once we got there
we paid for 3 adult breakfasts two mornings whilst staying there.the first morning no croissants or muffins left, the second time no croissants or yoghurts left.the man explained that workers were staying there and taking food back with them but we paid a substantial amount for 3 days stay and then nearly 9 pounds each for food that wasnt always available,i appreciate the workers need feeding but surely food shouls be provided for every one when we have paid for it
Staff here are always welcoming and helpful. Well kept and maintained hotel.
Prices increase to silly amounts when they figure there is an event going on nearby. This premier inn can be more expensive than the thistle hotel down the road!
Cot provided plus all you can eat breakfast and free for kids.
Excellent lady on Reception went out of her way to help
My husband and I were staying over two nights for the Riverside Festival. Location excellent for accessing venues, facilities and the town centre. Lovely walk into town past the Barrage and White Water Rafting Centre. The Beef Eater next door was just lovely for a night cap; sitting on the decking area by the light of the lanterns.
slippery bath, in spite of roughened standing-under-shower surface. Suggest rubber anti-slip mat.Otherwise bathroom fully equipped for less able-bodied.
great location, fantastic breakfast. comfy, spotlessly clean
we were put in a disabled room so bed and sink were low.... not too good for my bad back and shower was too low
Receptionist very friendly and helpful. Waitress at breakfast was excellent, efficient, without being pushy, refreshing!!!
I was in a disabled room as the hotel was full, I did not like the height of bed but thats a personal opinion.
Facilities at centre and shopping
Room 2 a fxx bin wagon at 7.30 in the morning at the. Window banging an being extremely noisy we where booked for hospital appointment for partner and she needed a rest before going in which I would have got her out of bed at 9
very clean and spacious
tv is set at a volume of 28 and our room was near the car park so it was hard to hear it
The predictability. You know what you're going to get, no matter where you are in the country.
Being on the ground floor when we asked for a first floor room or higher.
