Premier Inn Stockton-On-Tees/Middlesbrough  

Location excellent. Quiet but near to towns. Room clean and big enough.

Breakfast poor. Cold option ok but hot meal was lukewarm and unappetising . Coffee was stewed and cold.

Christine on Reception was lovely.

Unfortunately my room must have been the furthest from reception and the adjoining Beefeater!

Always clean and standardised so wherever it is you know what you are getting even if you've not been to particular location before

Food at the Premier Inns is always at best average. Breakfasts are good but evening meals at a chain Beefeater etc is always distinctly average, more than a few days and its intollerable

Helpful receptionist especially regarding access and transport to university for interview for my daughter

Room clean ,tidy and very comfortable. Staff very attentive and professional. Breakfast was a great meal for a family "eat as much as you like"

Very friendly reception staff - in particular the night porter, Yousef, who sorted out a problem in the absence of any management, despite having been on duty for 11 hours without relief!

There was broken glass in the room which I stepped on. Because of the lack of management, we were unable to file a complaint there and then and, despite being told we would be telephoned the following day, we had to chase up, only to be told the manager would not be in the hotel until 7 January!! The team leader dealt with our complaint efficiently and fairly but we had the impression we were not believed because the housekeeper had maintained there was no broken glass!

The service at breakfast really let this hotel down. We had to ask for more glasses and plates to be laid on the buffet table. There was not any fruit salad left when I went to the buffet table. We had to wait for over 20 minutes for the cooked breakfast to be served. When I complained about the delay in service I was told that the the restaurant was busy as they had not expected so many people. We were not offered an apology for the delay in service. This poor service is the reason why I would not recommend this hotel but would suggest that people stay at the Premier Inn at Wolviston instead.

Great location as we were attending a family wedding. We booked 4 rooms and my sister was able to check in her Motor Home on the camping site so it was a great catch up in the on site pub/restaurant.

no sufficient heating facility in the room. Only small electric heater. No Wi-Fi in to room! Room carpet was not cleaned.

Only one easy chair in room. Very basic tea and coffee in room. Facilities in room seem to have been very much pared down from our earlier stays in Premier Inns.

A good place to stay

The staff were very friendly, going out of their way to help us. The room was spacious even with two childrens beds made up with the double bed. Plenty of tea/coffee available and very peaceful. Excellent when you have young children needing sleep!

The bathroom looked like it could use a bit of a makeover but it was clean and that's more important :)

Everything especially the Beafeater Restaurant and scenery of the area, cannot wait to return!

Nothing, it was perfection!

It was a great location for what i wanted. great to have Teesside Park right across the way. The receptionist (Christine?) was lovely - very friendly and helpful, and with me being a female on my own, she showed a lot of concern over my safety. I really appreciated this.

I loved the fact staff were friendly and helpful and it was value for money

The room was clean and tidy, and the staff where friendly, we stayed on the ground floor in a disabled room, which we didnt know until on arrival, but we accepted it, however I found the bath very low and shallow so I couldnt relax in the bath. Didnt sleep well, due to the bed being softer than I am use to, and the noise of children running up and down the corridor and generally noisey people banging around, which was irritating considering we had come away for a bit of peace from our own children.

All of the above It would have been nice for two towels instead of one to share, and soap, small shampoo.

The service was excellent

You need better signposting to find it in the dark - it was down a road that had a sign implying there was no access
