Loved the meal deal great great food.Great nights sleep well pleased :)
Problem with flushing the loo in room 138 . several lights not working
The poor quality of food presented. On arrival we were offered the evening meal & breakfast offer at 22.99. I ordered the 'hunters chicken' which was served chicken Breast burnt on both sides and quite inedible. In the morning I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon and grilled tomatoes. A tablespoon of cold scrambled eggs, a rubbery rasher of bacon with tomatoes grilled on top and cold below was not very appetising. Needless to say we didn't dine in for the rest of our stay. lift
the helpful receptionist who arranged for flowers to be delivered to my room as a surprise for my daughter
the glass bathroom door .. my teenage niece was staying in a room with her uncle and cousin, the doors are NOT opaque! it was not acceptable for her to stay in the room as this glass gave NO privacy, therefore she had to bed down on the floor in my room .. which already housed two adults and my 11yr old daughter. We then had to use two clothes carriers to obscure the view. Ridiculous design!!
The hotel was comfortable, the staff were very helpful and the food was great.
Noisy heater in room.
Staff help and evening meal excellent.
No phones in room, so had to go to reception to seek help with TV. No 'hook'to hang hand towel near sink area. Room with disabled access at very far end of ground floor corridor.
busy rd on one side of hotel (like all Premier inns)
Friendly staff , comfy bed , clean and good value. Breakfast is very good .
No hairdryer in room .
I liked the room size, the comfy bed, the black-out curtains, the choice of pillows, the way they really try hard to please.
The fan in the bathroom which didn't have an off button (unlike the AC); hearing water gurgling in the pipes from other customers, which woke me at 4.45am. I'm a light sleeper and there's nothing they can do about plumbing I suppose.
Size of room, comfort of bed. Cleanliness, tv.
Elec sockets :need more of them and they need to be near to the bed not on the other side of the room. Really inconvenient. Charging for wi-fi? A Real deal breaker in terms of future bookings.
Breakfast staff helpful. Staff ofdfered to put bed on blocks. Didn't accept as not worth it for one night.
Smell. Had to open window and leave it open for some time to get rid of it. Also discovered that I could have paid a good deal less for the room if \I had left booking until the last minute.
Staff were really good and helpful - it makes a great change to be surrounded by smiling staff
Pay for Wi-fi - at the price you pay it should be included
bed was comfortable location was good
noise from the road when the window was open (the room was too hot without it open) no hairdryer - staff said they were upgrading and seemed smiling and happy that I'd had to walk to reception with wet hair. They did provide me with a hairdryer but no apology No free wifi (other than 30 mins)which for the price is v poor Room key didn't work every evening - I walked up with a hot drink to enjoy in my room - key didn't work - had to g back in the lift and ask the laughing reception staff to refresh my key - who looked at me as though I was lying and only when they realised they has made a mistake did they acknowledge my name. My drink was cold and I left it with the reception staff. No offer for a new drink etc. No real idea of customer services unfortunately. Will be going back to proper hotels. No iron
Nice Surroundings. Lovely shopping centre opposite which was unfortunately closed during my very short 1 night stop over. The Bistro in the shopping centre was open and food was great.
The Bar staff and the receptionist on duty were extremely pleasant and attentive.
Being refused a second tub chair on previous occasions when the room was being used by 2 guests. The male on duty at reception said we could not have a second chair as the manager forbids it. Of course the manager was not there to challenge.
comfort meal deals
GLASS DOOR on bathroom no no no
comfy beds , good breakfast
paying over 100 pounds
The staff; the cleanliness; the quiteness; the temperature (warm - it was grim outside); the location (were there to see the fireworks); the late check-out time; free parking. Husband like the food.
Staff was excellent.
Lack of swimming pool/gym/sauna/steam and not to much choice if you are a vegan.
The size of the rooms, also a good selection for breakfast and it was all very hot! and not luke warm.
we had a problem with our bill on arrival which we had been over charged. We thought it was put right but on departure it was still wrong, we queried this with reception and basically it can not be sorted until we receive our card statement then we will have to ring the hotel to sort it!
it couldn t paid by my travel agency in France. she send you 5 mails, fax .... you never answeared.
staff very friendly and helpful
no hairdryer in room had ask at reception given one no problem but a pain having to ask.
Most Premier Inns are clean and comfortable but the food (frequently in a pub next door) is often pretty poor. Not so at this hotel that has its own restaurant. Food was extremely tasty and only £22.99 for a meal deal of any starter, any main, a pint and all you can eat breakfast next day. The staff were all very good. I reported a minor electrical safety issue and it was fixed immediately.
There were lots of young children "buzzing around" the hotel as it was school holiday and the hotel is directly opposite Trentham Gardens.
The staff were lovely. The location was great for getting to and from alton towers. Meals were very good value for money. Would definately return.
The hotel was very clean and we were impressed with the room size and the good modern facilities. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would be happy to use this hotel again as we come to visit our family nearby fairly often.
The bed was just a little soft but we are being picky because overall we slept well.
