We had a disabled room , and a double room . Air condition was great . Lovely, delicious breakfast . Lovely comforting beds with an extra cool bed sheet instead of a soft one. Would stay here again and recommend this inn.
The car park was a long walk. Location could be better but close to the towns and waterways .
we got too small room for family of 4
Really convenient for Stratford tourism
Room was small for 4 of us
Positioned really well. Near to town centre. Lovely sitting with a drink next to the canal and happy hour was excellent. Windows don't open but air con very good and room comfortable temp.
Reception areas were busy. I needed another pillow, tried to dial 0 for reception but that didn't work then because there was only one person on reception I had to wait while a phone enquiry was dealt with before I could ask for the pillow
Bed comfortable, room clean and comfortable. Service from reception staff good.
Wi-Fi service was abysmal - sometimes not working at all, even when it was working, internet access would drop off every now and then, often many times in an evening. Also, bathroom extractor fan, and kettle, were both extremely noisy - drowning the television even at maximum volume. I used the bathroom with the light out most of the time to avoid the noise. Would have liked more tea-bags, and some biscuits would have been welcome.
Very obliging staff who dealt with our initial query. Lovely location next to the canal. It was lovely to watch the boats on the water. Breakfast was good.
The inability to open a window to let in fresh air. Understand the security issue but with modern technology, even a few inches of opening would allow fresh air and not air conditioning
Modern Clean Air Conditioned Room. Breakfast excellent
Long car park, having to park at the end
This was a recently opened Premier Inn a short walk from the train-station and the centre of Stratford
The location of the hotel, right next to the canal, and only a few minutes walk from the centre of the town could not be better. The staff were friendly and helpful. The children loved the buffet breakfast. A very enjoyable short break.
My son complained that there was not enough drawers for storing his clothes.
It's quiet location beside the canal with the choice of easy access to town via the canal footpath avoiding traffic noise and pollution.
Good night's sleep, comfy bed, effective air conditioning in the room, friendly check-in staff and the location is only five minutes walk to the town.
The shower water pressure was not the best, but other than that, no problems at all.
The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The room was spotlessly clean and the additional pillows were a nice touch and made it more comfortable. Breakfast was well stocked with a good variety of foods.
The beds were very hard
The room was very clean and a good idea to have no noise notices around the corridors our room was very quiet. There was seating outside and location was good.
Did not like having to park in a pay and display. Although there were camera's in the hotel they did not seem to be working.
most of it WAS EXCELLENT.
very short of staff in the dining room for dinner. had to wait a very long time to be served. but the staff who were there were excellent. parking is a problem.
The room was excellent value for a one night stay. And it was perfectly positioned on the side of the canal - so we walked along the towpath to the theatre (but don't try walking back in the dark!). And all the staff were extremely helpful.
The only thing that could have been better was if there had been a couple more sachets of coffee in the bedroom
The cleanliness The bedrooms The value for money for a hotel in such a sought after tourist area
The service in the restaurant
Large clean room .bathroom had a bath and shower .Firm comfortable bed with good quality linen . Excellent value for money .Will definitely use again . Friendly welcome from staff
Surrounding area rather scruffy .A bit of a walk to town
It was easy to find. The staff were lovely. It was clean. The beds were comfortable.
Black out curtains Quiet rooms Air Conditioning
The Restaurant for Breakfast was over crowded with long waiting time. The restaurant should definitely be larger to accomodate more guests
Staff, nice room, breakfast
Air conditioning hum always makes it hard for me to get to sleep
Lovely short walk along the canal into Stratford town.
Restaurant had run out of a few of the items on the menu at teatime, we ate at 6.30, and mushrooms at breakfast time
Very friendly staff, excellent rooms. Super location. Excellent breakfast buffet.
Our 2 rooms were nice and beds very comfortable. The rooms were originally in different parts of the hotel but the staff managed to swap room around so that we had 2 rooms together, which was greatly appreciated. Food was nice with a varied menu.
Very happy over all but when we went into the restaurant in the evening the service was very poor. Admittedly they were busy but in the morning we had booked our table for 2 adults & 3 children for 18:45. we ordered our meals then proceeded to sit there for 50minutes before our meal arrived, but to make matters worse they had messed up the order & my 12year old son had to wait another 10minutes for his meal & even then it it wasn't correct. The man serving us was very pleasant & apologised then reduced the bill as a good will gesture. The following morning the restaurant was busy again but it was help yourself, the lady at front of house was more than happy to get us poached eggs, which I must say were cooked perfectly. Overall a fair stay but the Premier Inn at Nottingham betters them by far.
Location was by the water ways hence the name it was only a short walk into the town and local attractions and a 5 min walk to the maybird shopping outlet the staff were excellent and the bar had happy hour 5 to 7pm which was great.breakfast was great a nd definitely value for money Lovely and clean room too
The evening meal was very disappointing with over cooked chips and the steak was tough I had rump with the cheese n bacon it certainly was not like the picture in the photo at alll My partner had a prawn cocktail which had a sticker on saying wed on the prawns and it was thursday when we ate so were slightly concerned luckily he was ok.
