Location and overall service etc. We have stayed here on several previous occasions. Even though some distance from the motorway we have booked over again. Prompt refund in respect of our complaint. On this occasion we were most disappointed. Main problem, an ice cold bathroom (far too cold to contemplate a bath or shower). Also room distance, x 3 sets stairs,- very difficult for we aging guests.

My stay was comfotable with everything needed and friendly helpful staff. Ideally located. There was an issue with the bathroom door handle and closing mechanism. It didn't seem to fit properly, the door was difficult to close and very noisy. The door kept opening back into the bathroom when just pushed to when trying to avoid noise and difficulty closing.Reported to reception on leaving and staff were apologetic and assured would be rectified by maintenance team.

Quiet room with no noise from adjoining pub. Clean room with all the facilities you'd expect from the chain. Breakfast options a bit pricey (but there's a supermarket next door)

I usually stay at this hotel and booked (on January 17) a disabled room for Feb.26. On arrival they told me they had changed my room. Now I would not have a disabled room, but at least it would be on the ground floor. The reason? Some one else needed it for three nights! Did they phone me before hand, to see if I minded the change? Of course not!! I am slightly disabled, and need a stick, and I need the disabled bath which has good handles so I can get out of it. I shouldn't have to explain to them about this. I was polite but angry. Next time I have booked a room at the Ibis Gloucester ( which is less expensive) and Premier Inn Stroud have lost a regular customer.

A very Helpful and friendly place. The room was clean;though there were some cobwebs i noticed. But over all very comfortable with a hot powerful shower. The food was good and fast. And there was one very friendly bar man in his early 20's with a name beginning with L?Give him a mention if you contact them.I was staying there for a funeral;and i found him very sensitive and pleasant.Even commented on my bright tie I was wearing for the day.Sounds silly I know!!!But he just put a smile on my face on such a sad day. Please give him a pat on the back from me.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We also arranged a family meal with 8 people including my daughter who uses a wheelchair. The Premier Inn and Brewers Fayre pub are both wheelchair accessible and the staff well trained in welcoming and facilitating visitors with disabilities. The food has gone down over the past year. We all had special 2-for-1 meal deals for £10.99. Since last December the price went up a pound, but the quantity went down, and there was neither salad garnish nor vegetables. We may reconsider having our family meal there next year as we all enjoy our food and so it was disappointing. Also I am a vegan now, due to health reasons. There are many vegetarian options available on the menu, but all mains salads featured meat or cheese. More vegetable options and salads please. Having said that, our meal was extremely good value and affordable, and the staff were very kind in allowing us to spend time together, open our Christmas presents, etc. We never felt rushed.

The first night was very noisy and the next day we were moved. I was told we would get a refund for the first night of £84.00 and that my account would be credited with this amount, todate this has not happend. The service in the restaurant and bar was very poor, the food apart from the breakfast was awful. We had two meals in your hotel, both meals were sub standard. There was no way on are last night we were going to eat there and had to go out for dinner.

The location was amazing so peaceful and beautiful, it was very clean and the staff were so helpfull!!, the family room we had was HUGE plenty of space and the oull out beds were a decent size for children. We had gorgeous stained glass windows in our room, was very happy all round. The only thing i can say is that there is no lift there, made it hard getting luggage upstairs, but thats a small sacrifice since the rest of the stay was great. Be aware that the WIFI signal is really poor, other than that i have no complaints at al and will stay again for sure!
