With a pretty Kentish village location, just across from the local church and shop, the Castle Hotel offers contemporary accommodation in Eynsford.
Score from 78 reviews Very good
location, staff, food , parking beer & wine excellent whole hotel clean
was given a disabled room, never booked or asked for one, although next day was offered a swap, also heating in room not working,or air con ,had to be controlled from desk, not comfy at all spoiled my stay usually love it here
Helpful and efficient staff especially in the attached bar and restaurant
Guests attending breakfast in the restaurant in their pyjamas
The staff, particularly the reception staff were excellent nothing was too much trouble.
Do not like foam pillows, would have liked the option of feather/down pillows.
Staff extremely helpful Great breakfast Comfy bed Easy to find
Pipes knocking over the bed during the night Car park too small for hotel and restaurant
Good sized room, adjoining pub/restaraunt was handy though very busy.
Paid over £100 for a room that turned out to have a connecting door to the next room. Meant alot of noise came through from next door. Paying that much for a room like raft is disappointing. We were not warned this was the case when booking and as the place was fully booked we could not be transferred to another room. Not happy !
The staff walking in while my partner and I were still asleep put us both on edge, after this we were unable to relax.
Good location for Brands Hatch, Hotel ok, rooms comfortable, staff friendly.
used the restaurant twice in the evening both times service very slow, limited menu average food. Breakfast ok It could be better
Staff on reception exceptional. Breakfast excellent.
Bed very comfortable. Staff excellent, cheerfully providing extra tea bags & milk. Always greeted us when we entered reception. Refunded payment due to my wife being awake for hours due to visitors above us making noise.
The visitors in room above woke my wife in early hours (child fell out of bed?) which was not fault of PI . The floor boards rather noisy and kept wife awake when they walked around for some time.
Cooperative and helpful staff
First room we were allocated - small window looked directly at adjoining wall - room 204 - we were reallocated 207 which was much better
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was clean and the food was good. We slept well.
Staff provide outstanding customer service. Cleanliness was well above average. I've stayed in many 5 star hotels & had cause for complaint yet The Premier Inn Swanley & overall I can offer no higher recommendation.
Prefer toilet rolls rather than sheets.
The hotel itself was fine, can't complain
I booked it thru this website and they got our booking wrong. The staff at the hotel said never book thru this site. I had booked for 2 adults and 2 children. Bookings.com only ever passes over reservatiosn for a single. So, when we got there we had one single room and they were full.
Very quiet, comfortable well appointed room.
With the Beefeater next door, finding a parking space was a bit of an issue.
STAFF WERE GREAT AND CLEANLINESS
BREAKFAST AT BEEFEATER WAS A BIT OF A nightmare. shuld have buffet and not try and cook to order as the wait is too long and there was not enough staff on. Thank you
Myself partner and grandson Had a 3 night stay .visiting friends it was a great location .we went into London very easy .and visited blue water shopping centre (15mins away)great shops .would stay in the hotel again .
The bed was very spacious and comfortable.
It didn't meet my expectations due to the price being so high
Comfortable beds and bedding. Good shower and bathroom facilities. Excellent cleanliness. Friendly staff on reception. Spacious room. Nice temperature in the room.
We stayed on a Friday and Saturday. There was a lot of noise late at night from people leaving the Beefeater restaurant next door. The car park was immediately in front of our first floor room. Breakfast service in Beefeater was poor.
No breakfast, No coffee available slow service
Much better standard than expected, having arrived from staying in a Sheffield Hotel which cost a lot more and had poorer facilities. We had a very warm welcome from the staff. Food and service in Beefeater Restaurant very good, Will definitely use Premier Inns in future.
We couldn't find a quiet area to sit and read, but we only had an hour to wait to meet family, so it wasn't a big issue
Comfy clean quiet
A little pricey for family room
Parking facility - very good.
The inside (floor) of the lift - some maintenance work is needed.
Four good beds and plenty of space for a night or two. With a 14 year old and 9 year old we needed the four beds and the room was a good size to change and relax. Would definitely use again.
Internet access was only free for 30 minutes and we could not get mobile phone signals in the room.
The Staff were very friendly and helpful everywhere was clean and tidy The Continental breakfast was very good There were plenty of pillows and the beds were very comfortable The water was really hot - wonderful.
I would have liked a toilet brush in the toilet so I could clean the toilet after use and not have to wait for the cleaners the following day. This also caused my husband to have to use a toilet which was not as clean as he is used to.
