Have stayed in this hotel before it was taken over by Leonardo, and it has had a massive revamp and all I can say every area I saw was amazing. The rooms were very stylish and clean, the bed was very comfy and considering I normally suffer with back pains, I didn't get any from the bed. The bathroom was very clean, didn;t get to use it on our stay as had plans that needed us only to sleep in the room. So didn;t try restaurant or bar either but they looked fantastic. AT £54 for the night (no breakfast and last minute booked) this was very much great value.

I used to live in Swindon and there are parts to avoid, ann the bottom of town isn't what it used to be, but for a great night out, there is Old Town. For country walks there is Lydiard Park and Coate Water. The surrounding villages and towns and close to the Cotswolds, Swindon is great for a central point

MacArthur Glenn outlet was good. Homesense too
Swindon has too many terrible drivers, who drive too fast & too close. There need to be traffic calming measures & more traffic lights.
Terrible, inconsiderate drivers can't be trusted to obey rules & use roundabouts properly.

The ambiance and excellent food exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and fully equipped. The only negative was the bed was slightly smaller than a double which was a shame as a king size would have easily fitted.

There are some lovely parks in Swindon that if you are staying for leisure are worth a visit; Coate Water near junction 15 of M4; Lydiard Park near junction 16.
The Town centre isn’t much to write home about, but a visit to the Great Western Train Village and Museum is very worthwhile. There is also a Macarther Glenn designer, Outlet Centre that is easy to get to with ample parking. At the outlet centre, we enjoy eating at Wagamama's. If you venture over to Greenridge, there is a Fiesta de Cuba restaurant. The meals are great and the price is very reasonable. We find just having a main is ample. It’s our favourite restaurant. Swindon has great transport links to reach surrounding areas; Cotswolds, Oxford, Bath, Bristol and Chippenham are all within shouting distance.

East access to nearby attractions, the M4 and major roads.
East access to nearby attractions, the M4 and major roads. The town itself, both the Old- & and New-town, is a little faded and run down in parts but overall fairly vibrant. Very good range of restaurants to suit most tastes. The pubs I visited were all warm and friendly with decent beer. Never any problems walking around the well signposted town daytime and evening. Overall a surprisingly interesting place surrounded by outstanding areas such as the Cotswolds, the Marlborough Downs and several classical English villages
I recently stayed at Blonsdon House hotel and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautifully located near Swindon, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I especially want to compliment the manager, Mr. Martin, who went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. The kids enjoyed the playing ground, football field, and the tennis court. I would highly recommend Blonsdon House hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.
The location in the centre of old town is excellent and the free parking an added bonus. We thought the hotel and it facilities excellent value for the price paid. The breakfast was well cooked and nicely presented and the staff friendly and helpful. The room and the en-suite were large and had good storage facilities. Our room didn't have a shower, but there was a very deep bath and plenty of hot water.
Normally stay at The Premier Inn Swindon West M4 Junction 16. The Holiday Inn offered a better deal. Lovely room clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly Connor on reception and Flo at breakfast who was kind, friendly and couldn't do enough for us she should be commended. Lovely hotel would definitely stay here again
Amazing apartment in a new complex! Clean and pacious with all household utilities, utensils and furniture. Perfectly located 1.5 mils from old town centre. Sufficient bars and restaurants nearby.
Owners were very helpful with commicatiion and sorting out any additional requests.
Definitely visit again!

As a Swindon native who’s now moved away I dread coming back to Swindon and staying in the hotel offerings there. Leonardo is by far the most updated, cleanest and comfortable hotel in Swindon. Bar a few marks on the walls and some more deeper cleaning required the hotel stay exceeded expectations
The proximity to the motorway but it wasnt noisy. The proximity to town centre as well. The layout of the pub/hotel was perfect. Light, clean and modern. Breakfast was great and value for money and more so because it was cooked fresh for us and wasn't sitting around under hot lights.
A wonderful warm welcome from Annabel and Dan at reception.
Advice on the best carpark to use.
Breakfast was included and lots of tea and coffee on tap 24hrs a day.
Being able to access the hotel easily during the night and parking outside despite being on a main road.
The location was great. Good communication from the host, a very big clean and modern apartment with a balcony. However, the kids next door were so noisy, that I did not sit on the balcony. Reliable WI-FI connection, close to the train station and town centre.
This was my fourth stay as it’s currently the cheapest hotel in Swindon with good parking (no good if you’re not travelling by car as it’s a way out of town). The room was fine and had all the usual facilities. Staff were pleasant, check in was easy and quick.
Excellent all round! Lots of parking spaces, easy to check in, good size room well decorated and clean, comfy beds, tea/coffee facilities, clean bathroom with powerful shower. All in all an great stay. Well done Village Hotel Swindon.
Lovely, clean apartment in excellent location. Equipped with everything you may need. Customer service is great, they respond to your messages in minutes. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Swindon.
Inside the hotel was very clean. Breakfast was lovely. Melanie in the restaurant was wonderful with our kids and very welcoming. Room was lovely and clean, housekeeping staff were very nice.
They sorted out our wishes for a lower floor room and our evening meal choices but we felt we shouldn't have had to ask as the hotel was advertised as an evening restaurant
