The Inn was in an ideal location for us, it allowed us to take our grandson to a variety of places such as Legoland, Swindon Railway museum and the SS Great Britain as they are all within an hours drive of Swindon.

We had no dislikes of the hotel whatsoever, however our perception of the adjoining Beefeater was not very good. We had to wait over an hour for our meal to be served despite the waitress pleading our case to the kitchen staff. The explanation given by management was unacceptable and I will be writing to their head office.

Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. They always wore smiles and were ready to answer questions at all times. Very pleasant atmosphere in every way.Food was excellent and very efficiently served. Excellent attitude towards families we saw.

Liked everything. Parking was excellent.

really friendly staff. also food places close -by. kids really loved the 'subway' across the carpark and breakfast was free for children. tea and coffee well stocked in room. also liked the shower/hand-gel pumps (less waste and better for environment).

difficulty in booking an additional night at online rates very poor service in restaurant at breakfast -slow and got order wrong. Staff in restaurant surly and unwelcoming - gave impression they did not want to be there.

Very good service. Didn't arrive till late in the evening, the staff could not have been any more friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Rooms big, comfortable and very clean. Usually if we stay in a budget hotel we find something not right but this was top notch.

Location and room size comfortable beds and most of all clean

Good location, I always stay at a premier after being converted a couple of years ago. Very comfatable, friendly staff, no fuss and a lot better value than the other hotels in the area, wherever you are in the country. Proper beds and clean unlike the plank you get to lie on in the Ibis chain!!

The friendly ness of the staff , good disabled rooms . and on the door step to Family and friends . Have used swindon west many times and will continue to . Also haveing a eating house next door is good for the Family gatherings .

The Receptionist was very jolly and friendly, the room was clean

It was freezing through the night, the fire kept going off and did not heat the room up, one of the childrens beds was so hard they could not sleep on it, so I had to and ended up with a bad back all day the next day, because it was so cold in the room my children kept waking up so we had a terrible night, the room needs to be heated properly, it was so cold. I do intend to complain to Premier Inn as my husband had a very long drive to Glastonbury then all the way back to Essex, he was absolutley shattered.

Disabled facilities for friends I was travelling with were very good once in the room

Room 20 was a long walk down the corridor for friend with mobility problems but not in wheelchair

Easy access to M4, but far enough not be be disturbed by the continuous noise of motorway traffic. Comfortable and spacious room. Lift to upper floors. Excellent food and service at the adjacent Beefeater restaurant.

The absence of a shaver point in the room or bathroom.

Excellent staff and comfort, got a good nights sleep most inportantly.

Only thing was my room heating didn't seem to want to come on, but wasn't a massive issue so wasn't reported.

The hotel is well located, the room was comfortable and the staff was very helpful.

Good price, and near the motorway, and even though it was close, it was relatively quiet actually, and could get a good nights sleep. The breakfast facility next door, was a great location, and great price too, and excellent that it was available until late morning (although at extra cost!).

Stuffy room - desperately needs air conditioning for warmer days. A mini fan was provided and the windows did open a fraction, due to restrictors, but it was still not enough ....

It is in an excellent position close but not on the motorway. It was quiet.

I found the rooms to be lacking in character. They were dark inside. Not enough daylight in the room.

We booked a family room; however, a camp bed was squeezed in between the double and the sofa bed so that only one side of the double was accessible from the side. You had to climb over all the other beds to get in. I have mobility problems so this was difficult for me. The room became very warm in the night too, making it uncomfortable for sleeping. The cooked breakfast wasn't quite up to the high standards I've come to expect from Premier Inn dining facilities. We were also one towel short on the second day of our stay.
