Premier Inn Tamworth South  

The staff here were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent & despite the restaurant being very busy in the evening the waitress found us a table in the bar area and made sure we were looked after.

Staff were so helpful and went over and above the call of duty every time. Very reasonable prices. The restaurant was perfect, great value for really nice food. Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The staff were excellent at premier inn . They could'nt be more helpful. They did more for us than any place we've stayed before.

During the week leading up to our stay we had a curtousy call to check our accomodation needs. But on arrival the cot bed requested was un available as they had all been allocated to other families.

I took a group of young swimmers, 20 in total to the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. Excellent with our group made us feel very welcome.

The staff girl called Kelly was amazin apparantly they don't except electron card , Kelly did her up most to help us ,

The only thing was I requested a cot and they didn't do them andi rang booking. Com to see if they could amend my booking as on line they were offering a discount to in clude breakfast but when we got there they said they couldn't do it as they can't amend bookings from the end

It provided a good base for meeting up with family travelling from both north and south of England. Its proximity to Drayton Manor Park and to Tamworth Snowdome made it an ideal location. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming.

At 6:30a.m. I was woken by the sound of people bumping about in nearby/overhead rooms so lost at least 1hour and a half of sleep!

Manager was very thoughtful and spotted an error in our booking, e-mailing us to rectify the mistake. Kellie at the front desk was very helpful when we arived and throughout our stay. Room was perfect - squeaky clean. They even give you a choice of pillows.

From the moment we landed, we were greeted with a warm welcome. You would know straight away that the people loved working there. All the staff were very friendly and very helpful to us as we had a young family. The food in the centrurion restaurant was absolutely gorgeous. From the breakfast right through to the evening meal.the facilities were very clean and all the staff were very friendly towards us as regards theme parks, walks etc.

This was only a minor incident but it did make me think. We were being served by this lovely girl at our evening meal, and as the restaurant was busy, so too were the staff. This girl was genuinely doing her very best to cater for everyone but when I went to the bar to get a glass of ice I heard the barman ( not a manager I think, as he had no identification on him stating this) saying to this girl "hey, you're break is over". This girl did not have a break all day i'd say and it was neither the time or the place for this chap to say that to this poor girl. She was ready to cry.

Very enjoyable stay. Room was great - clean and children Loved the single beds

There was little choice left in the restaurant When we arrived at 8pm.

Nice comfy rooms, spacious. Not far from drayton manor which is why I booked it. It was nice to have a restaurant next door for reasonable priced meals and drinks. We paid extra for breakfast for 2 morning which was fab! My 15 and 4 year old ate free and we could eat as much as we could! We will stay again and recommend to friends.

Very polite and helpful receptionist greeted us and went to a lot of trouble to help us get takeaway dinner to us.

The rooms were very spaceous and beds were of a very good quality.

The rooms were clean but i did not appreciate the fact that there were pubic hairs on the wall by the bath. Not very nice to look at whilst your having a bath, bit of a let down when the room was so clean otherwise. The food was ok but i had Scampi and it was one of the worse meals ive had. Did not taste like Scampi, it must of been cheap as ive had better at home. Not happy, you pay for what you get and i wished i had not bothered.The young lady who served us was very pushy and did not give you time at the evening meal and at breakfast.

Air cooling wasn't very good. No soap in dispenser in bath. Phonecall prior to visit to check room correct and hadn't been fixed by time we arrived. Bill was wrong and had to charge us wrong price before they could rectify and refund.

The building feels very much like a temporary building.
