Location, on the motorway!

Excellent location for stop over encounters to Cornwall from our home in Berkshire. The very helpful receptionist could not have been more pleasant. Gave us local knowledge of places to eat nearby rather than motorway services. We found a nice pub restuarant called The Worlds End. We will definitely consider staying at Days Inn Taunton Dean next time we journey to Cornwall. Also good to note that parking is free (unlike other travel hotels such as many Travellodges!).

Honestly, there was nothing negative. Only could not get BBC1 on TV!!!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The price of the room was good and the rooms were clean.

One of the rooms was cold and the heating went off during the night leaving my parents unable to sleep as they were cold. The nearby Roadchef was expensive and disorganised at breakfast yet there were few people to serve. No marmalade?? Perhaps a trip to a nearby Morrisons for breakfast would be preferable - that would certainly be my advice.

Quiet place. Easily accessible from M5 Staff was quite welcoming

No way of getting there by public transport. No possibility of evening activity.Good only for a person who owns his own means of transport. Breakfast was not up to expected standards

Good price - room was clean and comfortable.

Tissue holder in bathroom was empty. Soap dispenser next to sink was empty. Rust streaks on handrail over bath. Poor quality of breakfast available. Hotel looks as if it needs an overhaul. A little tricky to find from northbound direction ( very poor signing) We had to ask in the cafe how to get to the opposite side.

I was impressed with the cleanliness of the whole site internally and externally, the quick checking in procedure and the helpfulness of the staff.

Over all I was happy with everything.

It was a very pleasent experience we thouroughly enjoyed staying here our grandaughter didn't want to leave and come home she made herself quite at home we have never stayed at a days inn before we would definatly stay there again .

There were guest in an adjoining room that came in late and were very noisy they woke our grandaughter .and I did complain at the time

Ease of access, free parking, informative and friendly staff were very good.

The exceedingly thin walls without soundproofing between rooms which allowed me to hear almost every word spoken next door including 2 alarm clocks set for 3 am which the occupant failed to hear for several minutes by which time I was wide awake.

good location, accessible even if not coming in off the M5 motorway, good value friendly, well trained staff

It was just ok, however, we will not be staying again.

it is a non smoking hotel but our room stunk of smoke as people had obviously been smoking in the toilet near the extractor fan!

the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for making us feel welcome.

no lock on the doors from the inside. We had a young toddler who loved opening doors. The chain did help but a lock would have been nice.

Flexible, location (en route to a final destination), clean and quiet.

Breakfast options?

The price was really good for a two night stay. The room was comfortable with TV and en-suite facilities. The location was also good for local pubs for meals and other attractions were just a short journey up the M5 or the A38.

The freeview wasn't working on the BBC channels which was slightly annoying. My wife did not like the softness of the bed.

Warm comfortable room. Clean warm bathroom. Free carpark.

No courtesy decaff. coffey in room or at reception.Room was not serviced on the Sunday we were there but this was Easter Sunday!

Not being able to open the room window for fresh air but realise that this is a security measure.

The hotel was nice and clean and had everything needed for an overnight stay

It was bit of a chore to find the hotel and also no bar to go to if you wanted a late drink

I liked the staff, both in the lodge and the service area cafe. Clean, late checkout, noon, is helpful. Manager helped where Booking.com let me down.

Booking.com had not bothered passing on my request, ie:- plug near bed or extention lead for my breathing machine I have to sleep with. Also requested via Booking.com, room near the reception, as walking disabled, but none of the above was passed onto the Hotel by Booking.com.

Very helpful, friendly staff. Clean rooms, absence of noise even though in close proximity to Motorway and Service area.Comfortable beds, good value family meal vouchers for very good restaurant within 25 mtrs where the staff were equally customer friendly.
