Excellent staff - professional, very helpful, friendly. Room clean and well equipped.
Breakfast was a little disappointing. Long wait for cooked breakfast, hash browns and tomatoes only just cooked.
Good welcome. All staff very good.
nothing not to like.
Friendly staff. Excellent bed. Great shower.
Nothing: the décor in the room was slightly dark (probably because of the dark brown finish) but this didn't detract from the enjoyment of the visit.
The bed was comfy
It was to hot and couldn't turn it down and the shower was really hot and couldn't get it to the right temperature and there was dust under the bed and there was a toenail on the floor and dirt on the rim of the toilet
Friendly receptionist gave me a ground floor room when she saw I was on crutches. Even though the hotel is on a busy road I didn't really notice ant traffic noise. The meals at the attached Beefeater Grill were good.
There is no lift. The bathroom is a bit cramped and the toilet roll holder was rather in the way of my right arm.
The excellent staff, good service, very comfortable bed, lots of parking, all round excellent.
Nothing to dislike.
The Premier Inn was incredibly clean and tidy. The staff very friendly, cheerful and polite. Overall very good value for money and no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
Fabulous refurbishment but just one major problem. The bathroom extractor fans are incredibly loud. These really need to be looked into because sleep is disturbed not only by your own fan but by neighbouring bathrooms !!
the mattress the fan
shower in the bath was hard to get into no air con in the bathroom was way to hot in there no hair dryer room upstairs at the very far end of the building...very long walk to get to the bed was to high i had to jump to get on it
Usual PI standards good location helpful staff
Bed uncomfortable and two days later my back and neck are painful
Staff really helpful and friendly. Room very clean and comfortable. Great food and friendly staff next door at the Beefeater.
there was no lounge so you were either in your room or in the beefeater inn but nowhere to just relax for a while
The staff where absolutely fabulous and couldn't do enough for us, both in the hotel and the pub next door at breakfast time. I will definitely recommend to family and friends .M. Hopes
Clean and modern room Big bed and big telly Staff very helpful and friendly Next to an excellent Beefeater pub with good food.
Only the paving slabs directly infront of the main entrance were uneven and it was easy to trip over them. Something that could easily be fixed.
The place was nice and clean and comfortable, staff are all very nice and pleasent, we stayed for two nights, the breakfast which was good value for money, we will definitely stay there again.
Room, Staff in Premier Inn. Everything clean. Totally let down by the pub for breakfast.. Would only recommend the rooms , & will tell friends to avoid the adjoining pub.
We found the restaurant for breakfast very bland. The covers for the buffet breakfast were a dingy beige oilcloth, that somehow happened to also be creased. The fruit was tinned segments, looked as dingy as the cloth under it. The porridge was luke warm & staff un interested in attending to customers. As we hadn't booked for breakfast , we were put on a table next to the open kitchen, we did move , & things didn't improve.Staff calling across the room to give orders. All in all , very disappointed, especially as the staff on the accommodation side were excellent.
Decor, staff, ease of stay and booking in. Peaceful nights sleep
Tired and shabby beefeater attached although the food was good
Modern comfy rooms with lovely beds and bedding. 2 single beds in family room for children, nice and near reception, clean and quiet. Lovely breakfast at Beefeater next door, kids eat free
Rather small bathroom but adequate
Very clean and staff were lovely
More tea bags! ;)
THE QUALITY OF THE ACCOMMODATION - VERY COMFORTABLE BED.
Easy access from motorway, clean, modern
Zero athomsphere. "Family room" is barely suited for two adults and one kid. For the second kid they squeeze in a poor quality sofa bed and there is literally zero space between the four beds. Matrasses are of the kind that if your partner in the double bed moves, you move with him/her too and all moves on the matrass make quite some noice. The latter is even more true for the sofa bed. We had a terrible night and hardly slept. Breakfast is so-so and not in the same premises, but in a nearby (90 sec. walk) Beefeater restaurant. Location: in the middle of nowhere, nearest restaurants (except for the Beefeater) 10 min. walk.
Rooms clean, comfy beds
Rooms desperately need air conditioning. We stayed when it was only 21 degrees outside, was 26 in room at night and was too hot. Hilton rooms at similar price have it. Also linked beefeater restaurant next door is awful, shockingly bad food and lacklustre service, at least one table went home whilst waiting for food for over 30 mins - lucky them. Breakfast slightly better but we were starving by then.
Comfort, cleanliness and standard of customer service unbeatable.
Expensive for one night, but booking was very late notice.
Convenient, clean, good size room even for a family of four, friendly and helpful staff
The beds were great, the shower powerful, staff friendly, helpful when our little two year old was ill with bedding etc. Gave us extra teabags when asked. bathroom very clean. Easy to find and good location, quiet room too. Thank you
Staff knocked on door to tell us we'd left our car lights on! Major drama averted.
The restaurant is a bit shabby, dark and gloomy even on a bright sunny morning. Breakfast was mediocre, the croissants were burnt, but cooked breakfast was fine. No loo in lobby, have to go round block to the restaurant unless go up to your room
