The beautiful, half-timbered Bell is across the street from Tewkesbury Abbey. It has a friendly bar and restaurant and cosy en suite bedrooms, some offering views of the Abbey.

We arrived late and we were very impressed that we could still get food up until 10 pm and the fact it was right next door fabulous !! The breakfast was fantastic also , all you can eat. We will definately stay in a premiere inn again
Easy walk from Ashchurch station. Normal P.Inn experience.
Pub next door not great, staff struggling to keep up with demand. Food cheap and ok.
Room size was generous and bed was very comfortable. Also very quiet despite it being a Friday night, which was great.
Breakfast was less tasty than precious experience of premier inn food
Comfortable bed; friendly staff, good parking, excellent position.
Very poor food at the Brewers Fayre inn. Too many Premier Inns are linked to sub-standard eateries and Tewkesbury is no exception. Breakfast was marginally better than the evening meal.
Next to a brewers and only a mile from our leisure location .
Nothing I didn't like .
Hotel clean and fairly comfortable.Free parking.
everything. bed in particular. I requested a room so tht I could park my car outside. I got this no problem. so that I could leave my dogs in the car but hear and see them from my window
charging for wifi is a bit much.
Comfortable bed, pleasant staff.
Rooms are kept to the lowest temperature, so if you arrive and its cold, it takes a while to warm up. Noisy extractor fan
fantastic clean spacious compfy bed
extractor fan in the bathroom very noisy
The area was very quiet and peaceful.
I was really disappointed when I paid for an English breakfast and asked if I could postpone it for the day after since we were still full from the excellent meal we had the night before. At the counter they told me that I could take it the day after but in the morning when I went for breakfast they refused to give it to us. I was really disappointed and I had to pay again.
Location, comfort and cleanliness and facilities on site. Price excellent too
Very comfy beds, everything necessary for an overnight, two separate single beds for the kids. Good value
Wifi was a nightmare to connect, after paying for it. Brewers Fayre restaurant attached was awful.
Friendly helpful receptionist.
White paint splatters on the top of kettle and desk .Realised that refurbishment was taking place but thought that room would have been checked over. There was also paint on carpet.Otherwise it would all have been excellent.
Have stayed in Premier Inns many times and always found the good service and excellent rooms. All the staff were excellent and gave good service.
Unfortunately my stay at the Tewkesbury was not pleasant due the the hotel being currently redecorated. The smell and fumes of the paint were irritating, even with the window open all night and didn't offer a good night's sleep as guaranteed.
The staff at Premier Inn Tewkesbury were wonderful - kind, friendly & so helpful. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The toilet didn't work properly in the first room I had, so I was immediately moved to another room but still near to the rest of my family.
The breakfast was really good at Brewers Fayre but the evening meal wasn't. To be fair they were very busy indeed but the staff were really nice. We were given balloons, party poppers, crackers etc which made our party fun.
Very comfortable stay , very peaceful , no road noise.
No hair dryer was provided , had to ask reception.
Very clean room with enough space for the 5 of us. The hotel had placed two beds and a cot for our children and had provided plenty of towels.
Didn't want to pay for WiFi
Convenient clean and comfortable room. V pleasant and welcoming staff
Noisy from 5am onwards as v close to M5 traffic.
traffic noise from road
Overall experience was very good.
Long wait for food at dinner time.
Both the hotel and its next-door Brewer's Fayre eatery are very attractive and pleasant. The rooms are spacious and relaxing and the beds are good.
Premier Inn promote their Good Night Guarantee, which says that if you don't have a good night's sleep they'll give you your money back. In my case they had to refund two days out of three because I got two bad nights' sleep. There were two reasons: The duvet which made me far too hot but which I had to use because the only alternative was a single sheet, which was no good for late October; and also the electrical noise that went on all night. I asked the staff for help but they said there was nothing they could do. The man on reception said I should speak to his colleague in the morning (thereby condemning me to a second sleepless night) and his colleague, when asked, said that Premier Inn supply only the duvets for winter and the sheets for summer. She did move me to a different room, but the noise was actually slightly worse because the rear of Brewer's Fayre was right outside the window with all its rumbling refrigeration units. I got a reasonable night's sleep on day three more out of sheer exhaustion than anything else. Altogether, it became clear to me that the Good Night Guarantee is just a marketing ploy. Premier Inn take the hit on a minority of customers like me just to enjoy the sales boost from making the promise. But when you really have a problem you're shocked by how little they can offer. Another thing that surprised me was that I returned to the hotel after work to find my room not serviced and the corridor full of people servicing rooms. Someone knocked on my door at twenty to five (!) to ask me if I wanted my room serviced. She told me they had been rushed off their feet. Not good. At the risk of being a grouch I should also add the fact that Brewer's Fayre is often heaving with people at evening meal time. I had to wait two hours for a table on my final night (half term holiday). I'm torn because I like Premier Inn but these negatives have turned me off.
Well placed for exploring the Cotswolds. Extremely comfortable bed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast in pub excellent and evening meal very good value and well prepared. Well done.
