Ideally located, Premier Inn Tonbridge is a short walk from Tonbridge Train Station and near Tonbridge Castle, providing the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding area.
Score from 159 reviews Very good
This beautiful 19th-century Georgian manor house is in the heart of the Kent countryside. Both Tonbridge and Maidstone are within a 10-minute drive and have excellent rail links to London.
Score from 119 reviews Good
Just off junction 2A of the M26 motorway and only 4 miles (6.5 km) from junction 4 of the M20, the hotel offers great value, with free parking and spacious, modern en suite rooms.

We attended a wedding close by so location was ideal
Stuffy room, no air con
The Premier Inn was clean and friendly
Facilities for my disabled son. We had to book 2 rooms.
Conveniently situated to Tonbridge Beefeater served a good evening meal and breakfast staff were helpful in arranging a taxi to a lunchion party.
Nice staff. clean rooms
It was so hot in the room ! And hard to sleep.Premier Inn did everything in its power. So we had a good stay anyway.
It was clean and quiet and the staff were very helpful
There was no lift which was a problem for my wife who has a bad leg
Easy 10 - 15 min walk to town through the Tonbridge achool grounds footpaths. Nice quick breakfast at reasonable price just next door. Staff are great & helpful.
I'm sensitive to road noise & the front rooms are not ideal.
The beefeater dining next door was superb and the staff very friendly
Warm stuffy room where we were unable to open the windows because of safety and my elderly parents had to use the stairs because no one told us about any lift so don't think there was one
Friendly staff Nice rooms Free parking Good location
Despite duvet being removed and replaced with a sheet the room was so hot it was unbearable. I tried the fan but far too noisy. The window was open but still like a Furness and I could not sleep. Please get air conditioning for hot months!!!!
The staff were great, really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is always good at a Premier Inn. Great location for seeing the sights. Nice beer garden attached to the Beefeater.
Room was very muggy at night, but we were there on one of the hottest days of the year.
Staff were helpful. Breakfast was good. Able to get a cancellation for next night. Staff helped with cancellation of another hotel too far out.
Room very hot, although fan provided, air con would be better.
I was in a disabled room which made it big and spacious
The shower room was dirty with old tatty fittings. No phone signal in the room at all. I had to go across to the pub to make phone calls!
the staff were excellent in dealing with our requirements and are a shining example of what good service is
no phones in the room and no mobile coverage in the room
Hotel staff were excellent – friendly and helpful. Room clean, with smart, up-to-date bathroom. Restaurant had a list of gluten-free food I could examine – very helpful. Breakfast was, as ever, a generous selection and the cooked food was delicious.
Room had no aircon, just a fan. Impossible to sleep at night because of the heat. When window was opened to max, noisy people leaving v. early from car park woke us up. Wi-fi impossible to access, in hotel or in pub. Despite best efforts of waiting staff, organisation in restaurant chaotic. We ate in the restaurant on our first evening, but we and our clothes ended up stinking of griddled food. On Sunday we had to wait a long time for our cooked breakfast. I had pre-requested gluten free food and on first morning, g/f toast was supplied. Next day g/f seeded bread was provided, which I can't eat for medical reasons. I requested plain g/f bread for our next breakfast, but was told at breakfast time it wasn't possible to get any – so I had no toast that day either – so a sub-standard meal experience for me. Plus, on the Friday morning, out-of-date yoghurts were offered – my husband didn't notice, and ate one that was 2 days over it's use by date, but just in time I checked mine and found it to be 7 days over its date – a very bad oversight on the part of the catering staff.
Very clean and spacious accommodation. Helpful receptionist
Poor food in the Beafeater(steak too tough to eat) although the staff were pleasant
Very friendly staff
The room was nice, the staff friendly, the value was excellent and the overall experience very easy.
Lovely warm welcome from receptionist Janis
The rain on Saturday morning!
Beautiful location and just on the border of Tonbridge. Lovely staff at the reception that were so helpful.
the breakfast (shortage of the buffet items and not refilled in time)
Comfortable bed ,slept well. very clean and fresh room.
Traffic noise unless you kept the window shut.
Used premeir inn many times good value for money
The location and proximity to a restaurant
Bed setup in the room. This was obviously a Double room where 2 single beds have been crammed in to make it a 4 bed. Hardly any space to move around and all the beds where against each others. Cheap tactics to make money!
Hotel was very clean and had everything that you would want in your room and the price was very good to. Hotel staff were wonderful.
Having a meal in the Beefeater at night the service was very slow at the bar and had to wait for over 20 minutes before the waitress took our order and was surprised our small the portions were with your meal. Not very good value for your Money. Staff should take lessons from your hotel staff our to treat customers.
Breakfast. Cooked to order, but not cooked ! Raw egg and cold bacon, other guests complained. Not up to your usual standard.
The helping hand of the staff. Super restaurant. Good bed.
Quiet place,no traffic noise
