rooms clean and very adequate. Food and staff both very good.
The fact that even though we booked for dinner bed and breakfast we were not made aware of a meal deal. We saw details of it in our room later but when we asked were told we should have requested it earlier.
Heating does't work. My room is too cold.
Most Premier Inns are of a good standard. This one is no different. Good staff, very clean and comfy. Good double glazing meant it was surprising quiet in room considering proximity to road.
Tricky to find in dark, late at night. Note that SatNav places you about 1/2 mile away if you use the postcode
Love Premier Inn at Uttoxitter.
Could do with a n overall of sink and bath plugs as they were quite worn which made the bathroom look a bit tired. Also a little mould in the bathroom.
Bed wasn't made for child on our arrival. As only reception staff working at that time, we offered to make the bed ourselves when she delivered the sheets. Breakfast was good apart from the hash browns which were not freshly made, so were a bit hard.
Clean, quite and comfy. Friendly staff. Will stay again. :)
Nice warm clean and comfortable rooms
Clean, comfy and a friendly hotel.
How far from Alton Towers it was.
The girls on reception desk in the evening and the next morning were friendly, unfortunately their hands were tied to as much as they could help us. Good staff seem to be let down by senior decisions.
We stayed in room 207, there was stains down the wall from the leaking air con, we mentioned this on check out the staff said that they were aware and this had been going on for months, why would they put people into this room? The bathroom was dirty, hairs in the bath, old toothpaste on the taps not what you expect from a premier inn. We had a terrible night sleep due to what sounded like elephants walking around upstairs, we mentioned this again the next day but we were met with the response of because the terms and conditions have changed and we did not ring reception at 2am ( no phone in the room, was not informed that the receptions number was on the back of the room card) that they could do anything about this. A companylike premier inn should provide phones in the rooms especially when the reception is not even in the same building! They expect paying customers to use their own money to ring reception or go across to the reception in the middle of night. Not offered anything as an apology. we won't be stating in this hotel again.
The quiet. The staff. The bed. Great shower. Excellent breakfast. Recommend the porridge. Restaurant meals very nice great steak. Perfect for travellers xxx
Guests who are loud in restaurant. Staff should watch for this and handle. Tables close by of which I was one found it not pleasant. Not a fault but staff need to look after all guests.
Late check out.
Cost, would stay more often if price was less. High price due to proximity to Alton Towers.
Room was too hot so opened the window and all we could hear was the traffic noise so put the fan on which again was very noisy so we didn't get much sleep. One of the extra pillows in the wardrobe had a blood stain on which wasn't very nice! Not worth £75 for room only!! Won't use premier inns again
Stayed in this hotel with two toddlers and our way to alton towers. One of my children was ill in the middle of the night so I slepted in the bed with him, which hert my back so much it was had to walk the next day. When I told staff in the morning they said there was nothing they could do as I did not report it straight away! When you have a child that is being sick at 4am you don't want to have to mess them around changing beds in the middle of the night! Staff very unhelpful !
Comfy beds friendly staff
Room was very hot even with heating turned off , couldn't leave window open at night as very noisy road
great location for our needs, lovely choice of breakfast and very nice evening meal
cleaners didnt change towels or remove dirty glasses.
Spacious room with 2 comfy beds, no lumpy sofa beds here!! Breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice and tasty, kids ate free which was good value. Alton towers only a short drive away and a Tesco near hand which is always useful when you've young children and may need a few essentials.
You pay £3 per day for wifi but it only covers one device - not much use when you've 2 children (and sometimes mum and dad) wanting to use it. Connection was poor and kept dropping in and out in the room.
staff were friendly room was clean and looked nice main beds were super comfy
wi-fi was limited to 2 devices, which was not specified to me when i bought the 24 hour code. the 'extra' pull out camp bed was extremely uncomfortable, their solution was to put an extra duvet cover over the matress, it didn't help.
Room was clean and spacious. We stayed on the ground floor next to the car park and none of us heard any traffic during the night. Breakfast was great too
i enjoyed everything, the restuarant attached was lovely although the breakfast was a little over priced. the room was great quality and very comfortable in a great location for alton towers.
we only had 30 minutes free wifi i thought it should be unlimited wifi for the price you pay for the room.
The hotel was very clean, we had interconnect rooms because i requested for the kids. The staff were polite and friendly.
overall a good restfull night
a little to far from town and motor access busy
Location was excellent, food in restaurant was very good as was the breakfast , great value for adult with 3 young children.
Room was too hot and room temperature control not effective. There was a fan but it was too noisy to sleep with it on. Had to choose suffer heat or noisy fan when trying to sleep.
Bath and shower were excellent. The bed was as advertised very comfortable.
The runner on the bed was filthy I advised the reception in the morning.
Location was brilliant. 20-30 min drive to Alton Towers. Spar , Burger King and subway 2 min walk. Rooms were really spacious for a family of 4 and beds very very comfy. Really quite. Staff very friendly. .
The attached restaurant - you need to book in advance if you want an evening table at the weekend. It gets booked up till late. Not much to do for kids. We would have liked a small play area.
Everything food ,staff, breakfast and attentiveness of all staff excellent!!!
