Friendly staff. Decent level of cleanliness. Food in the restaurant was better than we feared.
Staff were friendly enough, but seemed hampered by the hotel's own limitations in regard to facilities for the disabled. The room was also very basic.
Denise was very friendly and helpful say thanks to get from us.
The hotel and staff were fab .the food was flipping excellent!!! Go everyone is lovely... Rooms are excellent and clean .... Really enjoyed our stay ... Your staff are a credit to you !
Bed comfort, friendly staff, pub on doorstep. Quiet spot.
Cooked.Breakfast a bit average. Suggest better quality sausage and mushrooms. I would happily pay extra if it were better
pub next door
Quiet location, staff very friendly, only about 10 min walk into town. Arrived a bit earlier then check in time room was ready for us to go into. Didn't have breakfast food next door was very good.
Quiet location with excellent food available next door.
I did find a hair in my cooked breakfast as I was finishing but didnt report it to the staff as it didnt spoil my experience.
The bed wasn't made for the second night
Staff were great room was fairly clean and a great selection at breakfast.
Decor in rooms need updated ie new paint carpet grout on tiles x
Staff fantastic .very clean very helpful
Breakfast very poor .been to other premier inns and it has been self service.1 sausage 1 egg 1 bacon 1 tomatoe beans and mushrooms very poor.
Very enjoyable stay, cant fault.
the room was clean and presentable and it was very quiet so a good nights sleep was had
Got off to a poor start as they did not have my on-line booking. On entering the room it was very cold but we were able to turn up the heating. One of the pillows on the bed was damp - nothing desperate for the price but very easy to make it much better.
A quiet location. Comfortable, clean room. Friendly staff. Very good restaurant next door.
Very comfy, warm bed and quiet setting, so had a good nights sleep. Good breakfast.
Having to request hair dryer from reception. Tired state of decor. Having to pay for wifi. Not cheap considering.
friendly staff, comfortable beds, good choice of breakfast
rooms too warm.
Pleasant comfortable room.
Working on Saturday, had to leave early before breakfast was served in restaurant. Not offered any alternative arrangement.
Excellent receptionist on arrival Clean spacious rooms Good venue for the wedding we attended. Good location
Good location The Eating Inn next door - good pub food.
Really friendly, helpful staff and was attached to a very good restaurant for evening meals and breakfast.
Our room overlooked some hedges and was plagued with spiders, 3 in the 2 nights we stayed there which didn't impress my wife. It's a shame because other than that it was good, but the spiders in our room let it down.
Well situated for a trip to diggerland, restaurant lovely with excellent staff. Breakfast very tasty and fresh. A great stay.
My Bed was so comfy i fell asleep for two hours after my yummy continental breakfast. The Sun was shining in through my window when i woke up.Then next day 2 friends came to visit me for lunch. We sat out in the garden and had a scrumptious 3 course lunch which lasted us 4 hours. No body rushed us it was perfect.
No complaints at all. Im booking to go back there in December.
Location was great and the staff were very welcoming. The room was very clean although we did have a ladybird invasion . The breakfast next door was very good. We enjoyed the peaceful setting in the park and the proximity to Wakefield centre. Good value for the price.
There was rust around the taps and the tiles were not matched. All in all the bathroom was in need of a good refit. Not the standard we would expect from a Premier Inn. There were no weddings when we were there but I could imagine it could be very noisy if you were in the rooms facing the marquee.
The Premier Inn was immediately next to a lovely old inn, which was registered for weddings. The room was basic but had all you need. It was very clean. Breakfast was excellent.
I couldn't fault it.
Comfortable bed Nice shower Clean linen and towels
I've stayed in a few Premier Inns and this one had the key features of a large comfortable bed, quiet room, clean facilities and modern tv. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food, staff and ambience at The Eating Room was excellent.
The bathroom in particular was quite dated and I was disappointed that there was no hair dryer. It was irritating that there was no telephone in the room to contact reception, I had to call the external number that I found on my phone using the internet and call at a charged rate rather than on a local number. The hotel was not near enough to walk into town.
