After ride up from Devon a soapy warm bath a g&t with a view of the telly was just the job. Short hop to the isle man ferry.perfect.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Good food Comfy bed
Room was a bit too warm for me - no air con.
lack of food at any time
friendly, helpful staff comfortable bed and room restaurant
noise from the motorway, but not much you can do about that.
Warm, friendly and very helpful staff Location was very convenient Good breakfast and value evening meal
Looking shabby Only towels for one and with no telephone in room ordering another one is a major issue. The vacuum cleaner needs a nozzle to go round the edges of the room. Distinct smell of cigarette smoke in corridor.
Sleep was interrupted due noisy next door occupant, who was in and out of the room every half hour with the door slamming shut.
Great welcome by staff and help with bags. Room was well-equipped and nicely decorated, it didn't feel like a basic budget hotel. Huge double bed (2 singles strapped together). Nice touches were choice of pillows and a spare sheet instead of duvet if required. Nicely lit restaurant with good choice of food at reasonable prices, again it didn't feel too much like a 'budget' dining room. All staff were really attentive and friendly without being obtrusive.
They have clearly had some problems with rooms overheating in hot weather due to lack of air con and not being able to open windows more than about 4 inches. However when we visited it was quite bearable as the weather had cooled down a bit. If I were to nit-pick it would be good to have the shower on a hose so that you don't get hit in the face with a jet of cold water when you turn it on when standing in bath to rinse hair!
Late check-in, good breakfast included.
room bit hot and stuffy
We stayed at the hotel as we were attending a family party in the area, as with all Premier Inns, the room was a good size, the bed was comfortable and the staff friendly
The room felt like home. It was very clean. The staff couldn't of done enough for us and the breakfast was so yummy . Thank you for an excellent service.
There could be a little shop or newagent within the premier inn as there isn't much around within walking distance.
The staff and location
The rooms, there's no air conditioning and it becomes unbearable!5 times during our stay the room went up to 32. Degrees it's stifling and you can't breathe, we booked into the holiday inn for a few nights to get some sleep. It's even like this in winter time ...just one temp like it or lump it!
the room was big, comfy bed, quiet location, great sleep and a cracking breakfast to set you up for the day!
Friendly, helpful staff Comfortable very central for the purposes of out break
Building and furnishing is looking a bit tired Rooms quite airless, need air conditioning
Easy access to M6
Layout of restaurant for breakfast. This meant constantly walking from one end of the restaurant to the other.
It's very conveniently located and easy to find. The staff are very pleasant and listened to my issues
Worst night sleep I can remember having - the room was unbearably hot (there is no air conditioning) fans are provided but these do little for the size of the room. Had a window open all night to compensate but the location by the motorway made it incredibly noisy. Started a busy day feeling drained and with a headache. I would NEVER have booked the hotel if I had known the rooms were so hot and stuffy. So much could be changed if there was air conditioning in the rooms. TV in the room didn't work properly.
The staff were excellent couldn't have been more helpfull the location was just right for me using the m6
Nothing that really worried me
All staff friendly. Meal deal excellent value.
Room hot and noisy with window open from Motorway. Fan provided but noisy to sleep with fan on and window shut.
the welcome, help when needed, the food was excellent , the overall deal we had. Could not have been better
Can't think of anything
Comfortable, clean, got money back after complaining that we did not get a good nights sleep, would stay again
Kids coming back to hotel at 11, 12 and 1 and waking my kids up from the lobby!
Handy stop just off M6 half way on our journey from Hampshire to Scotland
Would have preferred dinner serving to end at 10pm rather than 9:30pm (hard to get there by then after work).
Staff were fantastic, booked very very last minute after being let down by another hotel, within 20 mins of booking online we were there and could relax, breakfast was very nice and good value for money being an all you can eat buffet, room was very well presented and above all, CLEAN!
Slightly pricey compared to very similar hotel nearer to us but had to go with the price due to being let down by usual hotel
Cheerful staff who were helpful and generally efficient.
The facilities of the hotel, restaurant was good and rooms very clean.
People standing outside smoking, talking loudly late at night on the front of the hotel where we were trying to sleep! Also our room wasn't made up on our second day.
the meal deal and friendyness of staff
heat in room, was way to hot although a fan was provided.
The room was clean and spacious and the bed was excellent.
I paid for 24 hrs WI-FI and I did not get it. Staff were very helpful and refunded the money back.
