A convenient location next to a real ale pub which also provided good food and a hearty breakfast.Excellent advice from a charming young receptionist K.
Having to leave.
Good location for the party we were attending. Simple hotel, clean comfortable and all that was needed for a one night stay. Good price too for New Year's Eave
The staff were great. Polly was lovely on the phone when I called to say I would be v late for check in. When I did eventually arrive, the guy who dealt with me on the night shift was good too. Polly made a coffee whilst I waited for my cab home. The room was comfortable, clean and extremely quiet. Didn't hear a sound all night. Thanks
All was good!
Lovely quiet hotel. Really comfy beds. Rooms a really good size, double bed 2 singles with loads of room to walk around. It makes a pleasant change. Staff really helpful, would definitely stay again.
Clean and welcoming and friendly staff
weekday breakfast not up to the same standard as a weekend breakfast
dinning room in pub a bit basic
I paid £95 for one night without breakfast, the lights in the car park did not work and it was very dark
Location excellent . Staff helpful n friendly .
No passenger lift . Hard if you have heavy luggages and room is upstairs .
restaurant, food excellent.staff at the inn & restaurant were very helpful.
had to go to reception @ 21:00 for teabags & sugar as they had not replenished for 2nd night stay.
It was close to the motorway.
We had to complain that the cleaners left are door open twice. We were told the 2 nod time that it had been closed. Felt we were being accused of lying. Staff and manager need to learn to listen more and talk less. Food in restaurant was ok. Again staff need to learn a bit about customer service.
The staff here were very polite and the room was clean and tidy.
The pub next door was not so good, the staff were ok but the place was filthy, sticky bar and sticky tables at breakfast along with filthy windows, I had to ask for plates and glasses and they had no quasons or crumpetd left. I have stayed in many premier inns and always had breakfast which is normally very good, this experience was far from it.
Everything about the hotel was excellent !
The breakfast menu in the Premier Pub next door was good, but the coffee and cooked food we would not recommend ...
Staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful. the rooms were lovely and quiet.
Only 30 minutes free Wifi
Paid for a cooked breakfast, was told that as kitchen lights had failed could not be served, yet they were serving hot food for another 30 mins. Continental breakfast was very poor and coffee tasted like dishwater. No biscuits in room, rather chilly
PRICE OF BREAKAST. WENT ELSEWEAR.
Our room was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, giving us a different room when we didn't want to stay in the one next to the main entrance. TV worked, bath was lovely -couldn't find fault with anything. Cheers!
The breakfast experience - hmm. Fag ends on the flags outside, greeted with "Alright" - what's wrong with Good Morning? No tea-pots, porridge in sachet with instructions to microwave but I didn't see a microwave, mushrooms beans and plates almost cold, poached egg had split. The veggie sausages and hash browns were nice, and there was a good selection of fruit. Inescapable huge TVs - I hate that! Staff were pleasant and cheerful. I wish the dining room as as good as the sleeping zone!
Convenience if the breakfast restaurant. Quiet location
20 minute delay in checking in. Computer not working properly and staff did not know what to do to correct it. Uncomfortable bed. Stark room
The bed was good the restaurant next door was good and the receptionist was good
The disabled toilet rail fell off the wall and me on the floor. I was promised a message from the manageress but not a jot. I have photos of the rail that was attached to the plaster with a 2 " screw and haven't decided which course of action yet to take as still suffering. They couldn't give a monkeys Premier Inns
Welcome of receptionist bed comfort Breakfast not bad
This is no longer a low price option Have to pay extra for wi fi (this is now a necessary part of life why do you have to pay extra? )
Location Comfort Dinner available next door Excellent breakfast
Great service, easy access from motorway and good food in adjoining pub
The room was unbearably hot 76 degrees plus. In fairness this has been an unusually hot summer, fan provided in room but still hot.
The bed was big and comfortable...would recommend..The pub nearby was a bonus..Although building is fairly old it has character...
A good sleep in a comfy bed,'! The lovely breakfast and the friendly service.
The Pub where we had breakfast was grubby there was still food on the carpet from the previous evening.
Friendly, helpful staff. Large, plainly furnished room. Simple and easy place to stay and with a pub next door!
Shower curtain - they should be banned as they stick to you when showering. A glass screen is so much nicer.
The extra large bed. Much better than most Premier Inns
Breakfast service was much better at the Barrow-in-Furness inn where they have an excellent Costa coffee maker
