Friendly helpful staff. Room had just been refurbished so lovely and clean. Good location for Harry potter tour.
Hot stuffy room, used the fan & opened the window but was a poor night sleep due to noise.
Great location to the Harry Potter studio tour, staff were really friendly and helpful, rooms really clean, would definitely recommend this hotel.
Great location for visit to Harry Potter World Friendly and helpful staff
Room was too hot although fans were provided, couldn't leave window open due to road noise.
location, easy access from M1 motorway
had to go outside hotel to tgi friday restaurant for breakfast, luckily weather was dry, would be unpleasant in adverse weather conditions
Good size family room Easy to find & good location for us
We liked the fact that it was very near to harry potter studio's which is why we chose that paticular premiet inn
We arrived and was paying cash for our stay...we did not realise that we needed to show some form of id and was told we could not stay there....if one of our party ad not stepped in with a credit card we would av been thrownout with nowhere to go....we ad a small child with us and a pregnant woman.....
The room was clean.
Had to leave hotel for breakfast. We arrived from London, and were told to go to TGI Fridays or The Harvester! No facilities in hotel for a drink and to relax!
Comfortable beds Staff were very helpful and kind
Room was very warm Television had a volume restriction
It was very close to Harry Potter studio tour which is why we booked it. Breakfast was nice in TGI Fridays next door, we had to pay but we had 3 children who all ate free, so not too bad.
The rooms are very hot, no aircon, and if you have the windows open the road is too noisy to sleep. Altho we did have a fan in the room, this was also noisy. We are a family of 5 so had to book 2 rooms at a cost of £190 excluding breakfast so very expensive, wish hotels would cater more for the larger family.
Staff were all very friendly, a bit of fun and happy to help and advise. Comfy beds and crisp, clean Linen. Easy to park and good location
Really, really hot in the rooms, 26 to 28 degrees c! (although after the first night we were given a different room facing north and 2 fans, which made our last 2 nights sleep a lot more comfortable. Need more plug sockets in the rooms. A detachable shower head would have been good. We were told a refurb was just about to start and a lot of the issues were being tackled. Just to be really picky, maybe sort out the "garden" area to the left of the main entrance, first impressions and all that.
The Receptionist was really helpful and when I said we were staying in Watford as It was my Daughters Birthday and were going to Harry Potter world she went in the back and came out with some balloons and a Birthday Card we were more than pleasantly surprised that Great Customer Service still exists. Top marks to the lady in question, who unfortunately I cant remember her name! we arrived at 2pm on Sat 9/8
The fact that you had to come out of the building to get some thing to eat and also you breakfast...cooked breakfast was order when you arrive..the sauages and barcon was burnt and there was only one person serving...
Staff were very helpful and professional, good location to where we needed to be.
No air conditioning, position of the entrance to the car park interesting, especially when the deliveries from TGIF Fridays were were parked you couldn't get in or out! and the drivers were so rude and unhelpful. Better televisions with better sound. Really need to put air conditioning in all your hotels as it really lets the stay down.
No air con.
The rooms were far to hot , we were given 2 fans to cook the room down. Did very little, the whole 1 st floor was like a sauna. The food at TGI Fridays is awful , overcooked and tasteless. The breakfast was exactly the same. Awful
Liked that it was very close to the Harry Potter Studio which was the reason for our trip.
Room was way to warm almost a tropical temp. If there hadn't been a stand alone fan in room would have been to warm to sleep. Was told by a member of staff that they are having a refit starting in October. It's going to include air conditioning in the rooms and a breakfast room as currently go next door for breakfast. So don't be off put as was great for everything else.
Friendly and approachable staff
There is no air conditioning so the rooms were very hot and uncomfortable.
Excellent location for Harry Potter studio. Staff were brilliant.
Temperature of the room, even though we were supplied with a fan the room was uncomfortable.
Close location for Harry potter Close to restaurants good breakfast Not expensive Staff happy to help Room cleaned daily
Rooms too hot No Airconditioning - given a fan instead Difficult to get to center of London on public transport - walk 2 trains and tube :-(
Good location for Harry P and Legoland
No air conditioning - room roasting hot
Excellent location for Harry Potter Studio tour which was the main purpose of our visit. Very friendly staff who are an asset to Premier Inn. Comfy bed. Good variety for breakfast (but see below). Ample parking.
The lack of air-con could be an issue for some, though our room was cool enough with the supplied fan on. Breakfast served in the adjacent TGI Friday's. It's only a very short walk, but I'd imagine it wouldn't be much fun if the weather was bad. Shower was a bit feeble. Digital TV signal sometimes temperamental, but I'm just getting picky now.
reception staff very friendly and helpful...good location for harry potter studios and commuting into london
cleaning of room could of been better...very difficult to sleep due to lack of air conditioning...fan was provided but not adequate and very noisy
The staff were amazing, helpful, kind and altogether brilliant. I can't recommend it highly enough. Lovely premises, very clean comfortable room and close to facilities and services. HUGE thumbs up and thanks :)
Very clean, comfy bed and pillows. Ideal if visiting Harry potter studios. Nice having TGI fridays situated on site.
Location. Not much to do in the area, would need to drive/ use public transport for any nightlife/restaurants.
close to Harry Potter
No air con. Very hot rooms on day of visit. Hotter inside than out. Breakfast was slow being served.
