Very good service and excellent value for money
Staff friendly and very helpful rooms clean tidy
We ordered a family room 2 adults 2 children, to our dismay we walked into our room to find a normal double room with one single bed in the corner, a) not a family room at all b) one bed short!!!!. The girl on reception said that an extra bed would be made up while we went out for a meal, sure enough when we arrived back in the room a CAMP bed had been made up a CAMP bed for a rather tall 12 year old to sleep on!!!! Highly disappointing I can tell you we could have saved £130 and slept at friends on camp beds but no we thought two days of comfort was they way to go. I will use premier inn again when travelling alone but never with my family
Hotel was immaculate. In room everything worked. Bed was comfy. Shower nice and hot. Great food in bpib opposite. Loved the make up mirror! Will be back very soon.
Would have liked more tea/coffee/milk as only enough for one cup each. Windows didn't open much so room very warm overnight.
Clean well equipped room. Friendly staff. Free on site parking.
The walk into town was down a poorly lit path/cycle path.
The staff were all fantastic and it was so clean
bed needs upgrading... to be fair the info in the room says they are working on replacing the beds...when that is done you want be able to fault this inn at all
Very comfy bed with extra pillows. Helpful staff. Handy for a non driving traveller like myself as there were shops right across the road and a Beefeater next door.
The TV had the volume capped at a very low level that I could hardly hear. However, once I complained about it, someone came up and unlocked it so that I could alter the sound. I didn't want sound blasting out, but I did want to hear the programmes! Useful to know that they will unlock it if you ask though.
Polite cheerful and helpful staff
Good sleep. Clean.
Won't have breakfast again. Crumpets, for example were stale.
Hotel very clean, staff efficient and friendly
My only slight concern was the water pressure from the taps/shower which was on the low side
Friendly, helpful staff. Clean room.
Extra child bed leaves little room between beds on one side
all the things above were great. The staff were fantastic very kind and very helpful.
The bed was very hard and the pillows were not too good
staff. top class.
did not dislike any thing
The staff were really friendly from the receptionist to the cleaning staff. Also the Beefeater was friendly, good value & well run. The room was spotlessly clean & very comfortable. I would recommend it to young & old. Nothing was too much trouble.
Did exactly what we wanted
The staff were very polite and helpful and the room was very clean.
The room was quite warm, for us anyway.
Toilet looked clean but had a nasty smell. Pan needed deep cleaning
Easy access from the M1, plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Better price point than many hotels in the area
Room was like a sauna and the hotel know this because there was a fan in the room. However, this was noisy and just blew the hot air around the room! Mattresses were very soft and made for an uncomfortable nights sleep
I travel a great deal on business visiting many schools across the country and my choice of stay is always a Premier Inn. It is ideal for what I look for in a business hotel. Clean, comfort, a good nights sleep and the staff have always been extremely helpful.
My only complaint may be that in some Premier Inn's, not all, the television is set too low I have trouble hearing it.
It's clean friendly staff
We booked a quad room .we should have had 2 double beds but we had a double bed plus a single bed for the four of us when we did tell the staff they provided us with another single mattress on the floor. It was a bit awkward for us plus they couldn't give us another room for the four of us .
Convenient, Very Clean, Nice staff Dog and Duck next door. Sheet instead of heavy duvet. Choice of pillows.
Window does not open more that 2 inches. Fan in room only wafted around very hot air, was noisy even on lowest setting so I had to put cotton wool in my ears and the air in the room was so oppressively heavy and humid.I hardly slept at all. It was the worst night I have had in a long time. If you cannot open the windows there should be air conditioning.
Staff friendliness, good location, close to shops and restaurants. Very good value for money.
Ventilation needs to be improved, especially in hot weather.
Very clean, friendly staff, decent pub next door who wrapped up food for us to take to our room as we couldn't leave children sleeping alone.
Bed could have been comfiest, and the room was ridiculously hot even with a fan (the temperature had been above 30 degrees all day). Windows never open enough (true of all Premier Inns) and the room was quite dark even in daylight.
Lovely pillows and fresh towels
Corridor door wasn,t silenced when closing
