Very clean and staff are very friendly. Food is great at the beefeater and rooms are spacious clean and well maintained. Would stay again.
Free wifi is very unstable and slow.
1.Location to the train station is relatively close. 2. Friendly and courteous staff. 3. Room was clean and tidy.
Helpful and friendly staff.
There was no hair dryer and no shoe polisher. These are two things which I have seen almost everywhere else and I needed this time but there wasn't.
Hotel, staff all very helpful, location good, restaurant and staff good, quiet room as requested.
Nice clean hotel, friendly staff.
Breakfast was very poor, not the taste but the availability of cooked food was very poor. First had to wait at least 5 minutes for fried egg and as there was no bacon and it was cooking we asked for our bacon crispy so we went and ate our other items, Waited over 10 minutes for bacon so gave up and left this was Saturday. Didn't return on Sunday even though we had paid didn't want the hassle.
Nice big room and good size tv
Awful bed awful nights sleep
We couldn't eat. The bar stop taking orders for food because apparently the kitchen "couldn't cope". So we had to leave the hotel in order to eat.
bed very confortable
quality of towels in bathroom need improving
Good sized room. Good shower. Comfortable bed.
Staff did not pick up on tradesmen just using the restaurant toilet, although they were fully aware.
Hotel is a 5 min journey in a cab or 10-15 min walk from the station, staff at reception friendly & helpful, room was clean and tidy. Next door to the hotel is a beefeater resturant which is very handy. I would stay here again.
acoustics of the room and the cleanliness of the nearby Stanborough Restaurant

Helpful staff on front desk even though we arrived very late. Convenient location for our purpose
Not enough towels only one large one for 2 people. Room starting to look slightly tired but very comfortable stay
Very close to town centre. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable.

Food and service was great. The. Best premier I've stayed in
Excellent, professional and friendly staff. Clean room.
Room location...a lengthy walk. Noise from nearby railway. Hotel location, 20 mins walk from town centre.
Good bed, breakfast excellent.
Q for coffee machine
Helpful staff Early check in
Rooms were very hot Noise from the train line
We have stayed here several times in the past, to visit family nearby, and it has been OK Location is good for us.
Despite the hype about a quiet nights sleep, the hotel really has no control over guests if they choose to make a racket at all hours. We particularly asked for a quiet room. Instead of a room perhaps at the remote end of a corridor, we got one three doors away from the main entrance on the ground floor. We also got a room intended for a disabled person ( which we did not need) in which the double bed was not the usual size we have had before. All in all it was our worst stay here and we wont be going again. No doubt you will not be printing this critique.
Comfort & cleanliness. Hospitable & helpful staff especially at reception where a lovely, friendly lady called Pauline was on duty. I would highly recommend this hotel for any family member, friend or associate to stay.
There was no hairdryer in the room but when I enquired at reception I was made aware that all the hairdryers were being replaced in the rooms. And a hairdryer was brought to my room on request. I ran out of mobile phone credit & there was no payphone to use or no phone available in the room to use. However reception were brilliant to allow me to make a very important brief call using the phone. These were just 2 things to point out that I didn't like but they were sorted for me
Cleanliness was superb Staff on reception so efficient and yet friendly Restaurant very convenient and good
heat in bedrooms hard to control but we asked for extra sheets and took off the duvets and this worked
Bed comfort Bathroom Ok
Too hot - no AC Noisy train line nearby Wi Fi not working
The staff, very friendly and helpful The size of the room. The free wifi.
The very small lift. The reception on the television was variable. The pricing at Welwyn is high especially midweek for a bed only couldn't see any £29 deals or anything near it. PS travellers has 2 ll,s
