The staff were welcoming and friendly and the bed was comfy. The hallway smelt of sewage, there was a bad smell in my bathroom when I arrived and stayed there. There was no lift and I was placed on first floor knowing I have a baby with me so I had to struggle up and down the stairs with the pushchair etc.

This is the second time I have stayed at a Premier in and left not happy. When we booked in I was told that the rooms carpets have been washed and that there could be a damp smell to the room. When we went into the room the carpets was soaking wet and dirty/water marks every where. I reported this to the reception the next morning and the lady on duty was prepared to refund me, but that is not what I wanted. As I explained to her its not about the money, but that they made a client stay in a dirty room.

good location, comfortable bed (love the pillows) Good adjoining restuarant/bar Excellent breakfast service (love the costa) - my main reason for saying always choosing Premier Inn over rival hotels. Terrible heating system - room not as cosy as i would like. Which is very important if you are staying away from home a lot.... Bathroom was very cold as no heating in it and power of shower was poor.

Staff very friendly and helpfull in premiere inn.the room was very clean and very comfortable.this type of service is quite rare so it was great to experience.well done staff and premier inn.also the adjoining restuarant was very good for food and the restuarant duty manager was really helpful as our 3 year old was tired and wouldnt eat her diner and I asked him if there was any chance of getting some weetabix with warm milk which was done with no problems at all and we werent charged either.it was really good of him and although it was not an expensive request the way it way given to us with no fuss was priceless.well done again.sorry I didnt get the restuarant managers name but hope you pass on our praise to him as he wouldnt even accept a tip so the charity jar on bar got it.this man was there at breakfast time and once again his service to us was first class as was the other staff but he really seemed to enjoy his job and this shows to us as customer.thanks very much to all involved. We were not sure of area as we came from scotland and there were lots of mixed races but everyone seemed really nice and friendly which made us feel welcome.so our reservations were squashed very quickly.

Basic hotel. Decent facilities and comfy bed Had more expectations from Premier Inn. Didn't think it was a budget hotel. Telephone/receptionist line was missing

What is ther to like about a budget hotel? It is clean and a place to stay overnight, but it isn't a hotel you'd use for anything other than an overnight stop. The breakfast was dreadful. So bad I sent the first offering of burnt bacon, sausage, with hard-fried eggs, dried-up tomato and a disgusting hash-brown thing back. When the replacement arrived the egg and bacon were acceptable but the hash-brown was half defrosted and covered in fat. Inedible.
