Our room was lovely an clean the bed was comfortable and staff where nice an friendly
Comfy bed, accessible bathroom nice and big (but couldn't get out of bath),everything very clean and comfortable. Staff were all very pleasant and polite. Got a great night's sleep.
Although the room looked near to the Brewer's Fayre restaurant it was deceptive as the door wasn't the door nearest to us, it was a couple of hundred yards away. Very difficult for someone using 2 walking sticks and who has to stop every few steps for a rest. Once inside I then had to do the walk to the table that ended up being right near the door at bottom of the steps. Had I known on first night it was such a hike I'd have used my wheelchair but it looked like I could get there with a couple of stops. Next morning and following evening and morning I used my attendant type wheelchair and all was fine. Also the bathroom was very big with lots of handrails which was good but there wasn't a handrail located correctly for getting out of the bath, luckily I wasn't travelling alone so
i liked the fact the restaurant was a few steps away from the hotel the staff were very helpful when our room was cold and they gave us a extra heater
the food in the restaurant was ok plates and cups dirty did not like the fact it has no access to lifts in the hotel had to lug a heavy suit case up to our room
Great staff very helpful
Rooms, Parking Facilities, Food
Nice and clean room, v warm, nice rest
Location, Brewers Fare Pub/restaurant next door. Staffs professionalism.
Being in a detached annexe. General appearance of buildings a bit tired and in need of a freshen up.
best premier inn we have stayed in. receptionist was lovely, made us very welcome
It was a comfortable place to stay, the staff were friendly enough and the brea fast from the Howgate restaurant tasted fresh. The only downside is that it is a couple of miles out from town
Distance from town
Bed was awful
All except WI-FI
WI-FI should be free
good price and location to visit family in Whitehaven and celebrate New Year. Staff were very friendly on the phone and helpful.
My Sons had no complaints
The restaurant next door was very pleasant
Bed was hard and very uncomfortable noise from upstairs was terrible and the staff were unhelpful
Friendly staff, very clean, good location
I stayed here to the night before I attended an exhibition at Sellafield. It was a bit further out of the way than I expected in terms of being outside Whitehaven. That said I was not looking at going out and the facilities were quite good. The bed was comfortable and the free WIFI was welcome. The pub did very good food and as usual for a Premier Inn the breakfast was fantastic.
Lack of a bath
staff friendliness and efficiency
Having to go to Brewers fair down hill for breakfast
Great value for money hotel for business travellers in West Cumbria. Great location, easy free parking, comfortable and modern, good breakfast spread
comfort, quite area off main road and closeness of restaurant
no heating in bathroom(cold)
clean , pleasant place .
Not a lot going for this motel, have stayed at Premier Inns before and this was so Lacking!
Room was basic, if 2 people stay in a room there should be 2 chairs. Very basic and Lenny Henry would not like this at all.
Very friendly and helpful staff Excellent value for money Good for travelling with children
Parking is not as close to the hotel as I would have liked (and a steep hill to it) Restaurant entrance has lots of smokers congregating so have to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke to get in and out
Easy to find as we arrived in the dark and were new to the area. Very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. My daughter and I enjoyed relaxing in the restaurant in the evenings. The breakfast was superb!
The bed was too hard and the room was very narrow. My disabled mother struggled to climb the stairs and was put off going to Brewer's Fayre for evening meal due to it's proximity to the hotel.
I liked the whole experience and this was our first time I a premier Inn. Staff were friendly and polite even to my two young children. The breakfast Was really nice the room was clean and tidy. We would definitely return back.
I thought as a customer we should of had more time with the Internet as 30 minutes in not a lot really and if you are staying on business they would use the Internet quite a bit so I feel this should be longer for free or unlimited with a special code so you know the person is staying with you and not just visiting the pub.
Very noisey due to rain lashing against window not the hotels fault, but unable to sleep as light sleeper. Would advise staff not to recommend Brewers fair (the pub next door) food is appalling and cost unreasonable for inedible food
