Comfortable room good location & friendly & helpful staff
The staff were really helpful and cheery....couldn't fault them at all. The room was very good with a really comfy bed and good flatscreen digital tv.
Hated the fact the windows don't open and the wifi had serious connection issues.
Nice hotel clean overall friendly staff,
The room was only cleaned ince and that was by the reception staff at our request
nice clean and relatively new!
As always the staff were very helpful, The room was clean, The bed was lovely and value for money what more can you ask for.
We couldn't find any faults with our stay.
The hot air heating can be a bit noisy.
We arrived 2 hours before check in and we were going to sit in the bar and wait. However after speaking to the staff the room was ready so we checked in early with no extra cost for doing so! The request for a cot was honoured too and was set up in the room ready. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, had enough towels and pillows which is rare. The breakfast was really good too.
The breakfast was very tasty but it did take a long time to arrive. I think they need another member of staff in the mornings.
I don't go for Premier Inns normally because of the wide fluctuations in price. This one is very new, very clean and well run by the friendliest staff. The evening meals seemed wholesome and good value but I didn't eat there. Breakfast was lovely with a good plentiful selection. The bedrooms are spotless, comfortable and quiet. Very close to Town Centre bars and restaurants.
Unfortunately no bar. When I'm away I want a few beers and a meal so I have to go elsewhere, even on a cold wet night. There is a hefty charge for wi-fi and time limits. I may be working from my room doing a lot of emails and using the web. I don't consider charges for wi-Fi to be acceptable. Huge variations in price from week to week so I have to stay elsewhere on expensive nights.
The size of the room and the cleaness were fine.
We stayed 3 nights, during 2 of them the kitchen was closed for some issues with the chefs... Bar is closed during the night, its impossible to get water if not from the machine which means impossible using cards... In the rooms there's no hair dryer, no fridge, no iron, the door of the bathroom doesn't close properly and the heating is not the easiest to use... You feel cold or feel extremely hot... I expected much more for the price
Lovely clean hotel, very modern and good location.
Modern facilities Value for money Friendly, polite staff Good location for town centre
Paying for wi-fi Room heater could have been better
near to town and handy to everything .staff were pleasant and helpful.
the one way system was confusing in rain and dark to get in .
Thh staff were very helpful they went out of their way to make you feel welcome nothing was to much trouble for them, This is our fourth visit to this hotel and we will continue to return
There is nothing that we could find fault with this hotel.
Check in by computer
Friendly and helpful staff
Was happy with all aspects of our stay so nothing not to like.
handy location to bus and trians
friendly service modern room and comfortable bed. great location
the floors or bathroom were not cleaned in the 6 nights we stayed there .
Staff were friendly
Automated check-in - After a long & tiring journey a friendly face at check-in would have been preferable. Parking is a problem... out of approx. 20 parking spaces only 16 or 17 were available to non-disabled residents. Air-con in room made room stuffy and the window could not be opened. There were 2 extra single beds squashed into the room that were not needed.
Excellent reception, Wendy was fantastic really welcoming and friendly - really comfortable bed, fabulous breakfast and all round atmosphere, like staying with friends.
A lovely spacious room, clean and fresh, a nice welcome. Thankyou.
There was no toilet brush in the bathroom.
The rooms, staff and location
Check in took too long
Room clean and tidy
1. The staff were pleasant and efficient 2. The rooms were comfortable 3. The price was reasonable 4. The hotel was relatively close to the two rail stations in Wigan
Although the hotel is close to the town centre, one has to cross a series of roads on which many people were driving too fast and on which the street lighting was exceptionally poor;this is not the hotel's fault of course but travelers arriving late on a winter evening should be prepared for this problem
