Score from 560 reviews Very good
Ease of access off the M3 Quick book in Room ready Comfortable bed Spacious and well fitted. Hairdryer Good access to motorway service facilities
No bath or shower gel No hand wash gel
Friendliness of staff, cleanliness
Only the normal motorway service station eating facilities and none available at the hotel.
Easy check in
Room smelt bit stale was clean tho.
Stayed twice in last two months and both times were very good. Welcoming and helpful staff and good clean spacious accommodation. Would recommend to friends and family as place to stay. In fact, brought more family with us on second visit. Excellent value for money.
Not enough tea/milk for us to have more than 1 cup.
Warm and friendly
After an eight hour drive a nice cold beer would have been nice. But had to drive in to Winchester to get one.
Helpful staff Quiet even though it's situated next to the motorway Plenty of choice of places to eat in the services next door. Spacious room and comfortable bed.
Unsightly large laundry cage being stored near the stairs. Although my room seemed very clean it certainly could have done with update. Many fittings especially in the bathroom were tired and could do with being replaced.
Easy checkin, friendly man on the desk.
Spacious room Good beds Friendly reception Good value for a budget hotel
Comfortable ex premier inn
Not that geat for Winchester as 'wrong side of the motorway' .
Simple check in, good size room, good shower
Overall clean, tidy and comfortable our needs well catered for.
Breakfast facilities poor at service area.
Handy having M&S and other service station stops right beside.
If you're heading Southbound to Winchester it's about 6 miles. If you're heading Northbound from Winchester it's a 20 mile trip.
The receptionist Tamia, was lovely
dripping tap, unable to change room, dirty towels in room from previous guest, stained filthy torn chair, stained bedsheets and bedroom really dirty. Hadn't been given a good clean in a long while. Yes, I did complain!
Not a lot this stay
I asked for a double and got two singles. These singles seemed more fitted to a child than an adult and were very uncomfortable,
The hotel was nice and quiet and spacious rooms.
The bathroom although it had been refurbished looked like it was a big cover up job and the shower did not work properly.
Was Not good valve for the money. No breakfast available. Travelled 20 miles up and down the motorway to get to the place. No signs to get to get the hotel.
The hotel very good staff.clean tidy and very homely.
The location was tricky to get to.no local pub had to buy some beer from the m and s store located there and the burger shop was sold out of everything except chicken buns.
Location to Peppa Pig World was ideal and price of our stay was good.
On booking confirmation it stated breakfast was £7.50 and under 12s ate free. At check in we were told meals were served in service station. We planned on booking breakfast for 2nd morning however there didn't seem to be any facilities for breakfast other than Burger King. Where was the breakfast as stated in confirmation? Only negative about visit
Comfy beds, friendly efficient reception staff and very quiet!
Bathroom floor needed a good scrub, found hair grips, hairs and a straw, don't think it had even been hoovered!
That the location was awkward to get to as it can only be reached from south bound m3
Changed our room easily after I complained the toilet was not clean when we arrived. We got a bigger room with bathtub.
Location is bad. Not reachable without highway and need 30 minutes to reach anywhere interesting. Fine place for drivers who only need a place for the night.
The room was clean and tidy; It was cheap and good enough for one night; Very close to Winchester.
We had a lot of luggage and a two year old with pram so the absence of a lift wasn't much fun for me; It's the common complaint I have read here- I know nothing can be done about it but the 20 mins extra if you are coming from the Winchester direction is pretty annoying.
Good room and tv. The hotel was easy to find
Wifi was very poor and difficult to access. I spent almost 15 mins with 2 staff trying to get it to work and ended up going across the road to Moto. No breakfast available we were offered bk
Convenient for parking nearby, good basic accommodation for short stay. Polite receptionist on arrival. Food outlets next door.
Friendly staff, clean room with TV, bed a little soft but fine for one night
Mattress is perhaps a little too soft
