Premier Inn Wirral (Two Mills)  

Location to the Zoo, food and staff were both good and the rooms were comfortable and clean

Long wait on the 2nd night for food in the restaurant BUT it was extremely busy unlike the first night when we ate later and were served very efficiently

the room was cold at night and noisy from fans outside

The staff were very helpful. The food was very good and good value. The room was nicely decorated and clean. Everything worked as it should.

Limited coffee / tea, only two cups worth. Bed was very hard, and the next room was noisy at 1pm in the morning. There was a lot of road noise, and in total both myself and my wife had only a few hours sleep. The following days activities were cancelled as we both felt exhausted, and we decided to cut short our visit and travel back home so we could get a good nights sleep.

Room was fine although needs updating which I understand is on the cards.

Catering disgusting arrived friday night plates were dirty had food on them from previous meal these were not the dirty dishes as they were stacked on the counter in the rack. this continued over the weekend the plates had a rough feel to them and on the sunday we picked up a bowl that had egg stuck on the back. We had to go through 4 plates before we found one which was just about clean. we complained and were given a refund on the breakfasts for sunday. to be honest we couldnt wait to get out of the place on the sunday as the condition of the crockery was disgusting, paul johnsons breakfast was missing the eggs and we had to wait a while for these and at £8 per person the breakfast does not come cheap. Without doubt if the health inspector turned up on your door this place would be closed down, god knows what the kitchens look like. I am awaiting a speedy response to this email and sufficient compensation for the weekend considering it was supposed to be a relaxing break not making us feel sick as we were eating.

We found this a very friendly hotel to stay in. All the staff we met were excellent and made our stay very comfortable. One very small issue regarding the heating in the bedroom was solved immediately & with no fuss. The room was clean, large & well fitted. We ate in the attached Restaurant for both lunch & dinner and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. It's good honest pub grub offering decent portions at a reasonable price.

Nothing to write about everything was perfect

The rooms were very comfortable ans there was a lift. Good for me as I have a painful knee.

The hair dryer was plugged into an electric socket on right side of the room and the only mirror was approx 8 feet away on the left side of the room. No electric socket near the mirror. No fruit tea bags.

Rather dated and evidence of lack of maintenance to the outside of the property.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the quality and cleanliness of the room and the bed was very comfortable ensuring a very good nights sleep. Also the quality of the food in the restaurant was excellent.

Room was difficult to get optimum temperature. No telephone in the room so when problems arose had to go to the reception. Wanted two extra pillows. Reception asked us to locate the housekeeper ourselves and request them. On doing so on our return to the room only one had been left! Kettle was not working on the second day-another trip to Reception. I do not drink tea or coffee so at breakfast I was not allowed to use the soft drinks machine although I could have had unlimited tea/coffee!! The way my partner was spoken to re soft drinks machine was not customer friendly! Bed and Breakfast estblishment would have been a cheaper option.

Overall good value for money. Clean and comfortable, with no frills.

I have taken visitors there on previous occasions as I know I can rely on the quality of service and the friendliness of the staff

We arrived fairly late but received a very warm welcome from the lady receptionist. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast and, again the lady who served us was excellent.

Stayed for a family wedding at the hotel next door. Had a very comfortable night and a good breakfast.

Receptionist was very friendly, helpful and assisted by booking a taxi for us.

Staff in the bar were unhelpful, unfriendly and had no smile between them. Looked like they were hating every second of being there. Stains on one of the bed sheets. Beds were very hard. No shower cap provided.
