Had 3 great nights sleep and even overslept one morning so had to get a move on as I was meeting old friends in Liverpool for lunch! The staff were great and I would like to single out Chris who went out of his way to be friendly and helpful, also very helpful were Richard and Sarah. I have stayed in some really plush hotels in London ( with work) and the staff are not a patch on Chris, Richard and Sarah so I think Premier Inn should give them a pay rise!
The fan that went on every time you turned the light on in the bathroom drove me mad! I can understand a fan when you have had a bath or shower but does it really have to spring into action when you just turn on the light?!
staff were excellent, does what its supposed to do, inexpensive, clean, quiet ,
no single rooms available had to pay full double room price for one person
Staff very helpful, clean comfortable rooms. Somewhere to eat close by.
nothing to complain
staff excellent / helpful
staying in a disabled room
The staff was very pleasant on arrival and very helpful The Twelfth Man pub was very family welcoming and happy to help no matter what the problem
The mattress was very hard it was like sleeping on a rock slab so we didn't get much sleep at all through night
Sadly we were there because of a seriously ill relative. This meant we booked at the last minute and each day needed to re-book and or cancel as we were unsure of what the outcome would be. The staff, especially Chris on the night desk, were outstanding. They went far beyond the call of duty in customer care showing considerable compassion as well as good service. I have stayed in 4 & 5 star hotels around the world. Many of them could learn good customer care from this team!
The food in the restaurant next door, which is independent, was fine but the decor was tired.
Parking adequate Bed very comfortable
Building a bit shabby and tired. Corridor smelt musty Public toilet disgusting state on both days. Room smelt like ex smoker Decoration in building tired
Pillows were excellent although the mattress was too short in room 220 as I'm am over 6 ft tall otherwise fine the extractor fan in the bathroom was quite noisy and the tables in the dining room were a bit grubby/ sticky also when we went down for breakfast the previous evenings food was still on the seats tables etc not very appealing and for that reason I would choose to dine elsewhere
The Receptionist was welcoming and friendly and ordered our cab and gave us wifi support. He also carried our bags up to our lovely room. Before our trip the Premier hotel even rang and checked our room requirements before we left home. They set a fan up in the room and made sure we had all we needed, Excellent
looked like new good bathroom good food next door
Chris Duty manager on arrival was excellent
English breakfast within the pub was average
I loved the friendliness and caring of The staff were excellent, they just couldn't do enough for you, from booking a table for dinner next door at the Twelfth Man to calling a taxi the next morning to take us to hospital. The room was at the back of the hotel which was nice and quiet, it was clean and fresh and the facilities are very good.
The only thing I would say is the beds were a bit firm for my liking, but that is only my personal preference and not really a negative.
Recently refurbished. Good decoration and facilities. Fab big bed! Very quiet. Staff are excellent!
Bed not very comfortable. Would have appreciated biscuits as husband diabetic. Expensive as didn't include breakfast. £84 is not cheap. Relatives were staying from NZ they stayed 6/7 nights no special rates. They used to live nearby and were regulars til 11 yrs ago. Quite sad really as they wanted to return.
The staff were excellent throughout
Richard on reception was very helpful, A nice quiet clean hotel.
All good nothing to dislike.
staff were lovey room was great, we will come back
The noise from the room above disturbed me several tomes in the night, they were only walking around but it was too noisy for comfort
Day receptionist very polite and helpful and a good laugh
Night porter was very aggressive in manor I know he had a job to do but there is a way of doing it without intimidating people
staff superb,we needed to book in early and they were excellent in sorting out our problem
nothing would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends

Clean, well appointed room, good for the cheap price. Choice of firm or soft pillows, if that's your thing.
It was honestly fine for an overnight business trip. Weather could have been better (there was a storm)! :)
Fantastic staff, couldn't do enough for you. Helpful with queries and providing local information.
