Good size room Clean Very comfortable bed No noise heard from other rooms Staff friendly Breakfast lovely
Toilet was not clean enough and some used towels were found in the bathroom.
First time at a Premier Inn who offor a "Great sleep guarantee" and that is exactly what we had. Friendly, helpful staff.
friendly, helpful reception very comfortable beds well sound-proofed room good location
Generally very friendly and helpful staff. Good bar area. Good breakfast. Very convenient location for Town, Station and Racecourse. Good sized room.
Member of staff who booked us in looked under pressure and consequently slightly sharp. Relatively high charge for a Premier Inn. Only 30 free minutes per day Wi-Fi and poor mobile & WI-Fi signal. Very late daily postal delivery which could be rectified if a fee was paid for an early delivery.
Comfortable and spacious room. Good bar and breakfast. Staff generally very friendly and helpful on the North and South receptions. Special compliment to the receptionist at the North desk, very friendly and enthusiastic. She obviously really enjoyed her job.
One member of staff a little sharp when we booked in at South reception. She was admitedly under pressure from the queue at the time. It was Ebor week at York but the prices were high for a Premier Inn.
Proximity to railway station and downtown. Quiet as long as your room isn't on the same side as the pub next door. Staff very friendly and accommodating.
I realize that most people carry mobiles now, but if you have overseas guests or older seniors, it is imperative that a phone be available in the rooms. Also, a towel rack in the bathroom and somewhere to hang up your clothes, other than from knobs attached to the wall would be helpful.
The location was good and the lady at our hotel reception where we stayed was very helpful and professional at her job. Infact all your employees were friendly and helpful.
We had a long walk with heavy bags to our hotel room.
Location close to train station. Pleasant 10 minute walk to town centre. Very comfortable bed & pillows. Spacious & clean room. Pleasant, helpful staff.
Breakfast area could be reorganised to make it more efficient.
Ease of checking in. Clean room and comfortable.
Limited parking, no guarantee about getting a space. Possibly need to label south clearer, like north
The friendly service was great!
When booking you don't know if it is the old or new building ! I was disappointed to be shoved into the modern one....pity!
As a mature couple, we found the room, service, and included (in our package) breakfast very good. The Inn is a short walk from the city hub and Railway Museum. Also, as we travelled by train, is handy to the station. Would definitely return if we were ever in that neck-of-the-woods again. Tom Wilson (Canada).
Like many European hotels in prime time we found the room cost (with breakfast) made us suck in our breath but they weren't out-of-line with other hotels.
Comfortable beds and very clean. Staff very helpfull.
Staff we're very helpful , rooms large and spacious . Will be back
Having to wait a while checking in as there was only one small desk .
the cleanliness of the place. the bar and restaurant facilities were good.
I didn't like the soap dispenser in the shower, it didn't foam very well and made my hair dry like straw. I also tossed and turned till 2am, as i only had one very low pillow. I ended up rolling up a damp towel to prop my head up.
everything was great and i would like to thanJoanne and the staff for making my 50th birthday celebration special
the location is ideal bed is very comfortable room was clean
The breakfast buffet was excellent!
Price, location and room comfort.
Limited wifi and weak signal.
Near train station and major city sights.
Our particular first floor room looked out onto the recycling and trash area. Maybe they could build a small fence barrier to shield the view.
Fantastic stay, will be coming back. :-)
Very comfortable beds Great shower room Bar and dining area was spacious and comfortable All the staff at the reception made us feel welcome The bar and dining staff was very good to
Can't think of any negatives enjoy my stay and really enjoyed York
Great breakfast, nice decorations. Appreciated discount on parking. Easy check-in. Premier Inn is one of the very few hotels that can accommodate parents and two children in one room, which makes it a good choice for families. We have now stayed in four different Premiers and they have been excellent, with great locations and very comfortable facilities.
This location is very close to all attractions in York, and is only a few minutes walk away from York Railway station and bus routes.
I wasn't very impressed with the quality of the meals, or the Breakfast.I have had far better in other Premier Inns.
