Premier Inn York South West  

Friendly and efficient staff. Comfortable dining-room with a comprehensive menu. (My vegetarian wife was well catered for.) The feeling that a big effort had been made to ensure the comfort of guests

No complaints at all.

The room had everything we needed

The room was cold and I had a 4 year old and a 6 month old. The thermostats was on 23 degrees but freezing

The staff were friendly and is a good location

The breakfast area needs to be bigger

Location to York. Cheaper than most York hotels

Breakfast expensive - no continental on offer. Rather noisy with 1/2 term families

We had difficulty finding the entrance from the a64. I suggest a mention in your information, that York bound traffic must leave the a64 just after the hotel and follow the services sign to actually reach the hotel

their is nothing in the downside that we can say about premier inn.

Very friendly staff could not do enough to help. Room was very clean and comfortable. Restaurant was very convenient given the out of town location.

The convenience of the nearby location of the city of York. The extremely efficient and friendly staff.

My only criticism would be the charging for hot chocolate at breakfast as my wife and daughter do not drink tea or coffee. Which was a real shame because the breakfast itself was excellent.

Very clean and friendly

It was 13.00 taxi into city which isn't to bad to avoid car parking charged etc

The hotel staff was useless, we had paid in full before arrival she said we hadnt and couldn't find payment or the group said we had only 3 rooms booked when we had 4 all paid. Very slow. Check out should 11am not 12 as you have to wait for rooms to be cleaned which seems to takes ages

The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and bed very comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff were very welcoming and friendly.

We liked the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. Breakfast was very good also. Would stay again. The room was too hot for us but maybe next time the fan would need to be on all night.

They called me to confirm the required layout of the room prior to my arrival, which I thought was very efficient and useful.

Clean. Very good receptionist, over and above what her duties were.

The fact that you had to ask for your breakfast quantities, when it stated all you can eat breakfast, it caused embarrassment, and one didnt feel able to eat what one liked. All you can eat should be on a buffet style.

First stay at a Premier Inn. Very impressed. Room was satisfactory, just as in the adverts. Staff were excellent, warm welcome by Reception, attentive in the Restauruant, and the room was very clean. Will certainly consider Premier Inns again.

Window could be double glazed to reduce traffic noise, and impossible to sleep with window open. Shower and tap pressure could be better
