We were due to see a show at the LG arena but it was cancelled and rescheduled. The Hotel staff were so helpful in changing our dates to accommodate the new show date. Brilliant and absolutely no hassle.
Staff were excellent and room was of a excellent standard
When we got back to our room, we were kept awake because of people in room above keeping us awake most of the night, so didn't get much sleep. I didn't get a chance to complain has had to leave at 6.30 am
Excellent night's sleep
Usual good accomodation
Poor bar staff Spent their time joking around and not attending to customers Had to wait 15 minutes to get served at 10.00pm in the end gave up and went without. Your loss but left us with poor impression of hotel
Excellent location, walking distance to the NEC. Lovely breakfast, good bed and shower.
Paid wifi not working.
Finding ourselves in the wrong place, please state when booking that you share sat nav code with holiday inn!
room clean, beds comfortable and staff helpful and friendly
After booking a table and ordering, we waited for over 40 minutes for our meal on the evening. My mums order (pizza) came out incorrect. The pizza came out with jalapeno peppers on it, for which she has a mild allergic reaction to. Although the staff changed the order, we still had to wait another 15 minutes for the correct order. My mum was offered a free drink, however she was uncomfortable on the evening due to accidently eating a jalapeno. Another issue was that we booked a taxi at reception to drop us to the NEC, was quoted £5, and the driver insisted that the charge was £8. Apparantly because there were 5 of us, however reception did not inform us of this.
the helpfulness of staff was great. food wasn't bad and the bed was comfortable
many people did not get food at all we did but it took 3hours to have a meal didn't even wait for desert. Noise level was unacceptable - gave up trying to sleep
The food was perfect.
Not as close as the info says to the NEC. The shower in my room had running cold to warm water only. The heating was intermittent.
Close to nec Bed comfy Room good
TV didn't work for half an hour but got it going after that.
Rude staff, room not ready on arrival. Staff heard to say “ they couldnt be arsed“ and it really showed in the way we were made to feel. Shall be expecting full refund. Toilet spluttered all night good impression of volcano. We were left with two teabags and two coffee sachets , very mean and only half a roll of toilet paper. Easily the worst place we have ever stayed.
Staff Comfortable bed Location
£6 per day car parking Noisy guests in corridor Quiet zone (10-7am) not complied with by some guests Room near smoking spot outside
Pretty much everything
parking charges, wasn't impressed that I was told to pay as I left and actually paid for a ticket that expired the day after I checked out. Could've used it for free.
Price, comfort, cleanliness and friendly staff.
Room basic but nice, beds very comfortable and room clean. Meals were very good, glad we went for the meal deal
Slow on booking in, room was not ready, but we were kept informed and had somewhere to sit and get a drink
The staff were friendly and helpful but woefully understaffed in both the bar and the restaurant
The bed was not as comfortable as usually fouond in Premier Inns and the room upstairs was extremely noisy so there was obviously no effective sound proofing, it sounded like a heard of elephants were constantly moving furniture upstairs, even until about 3pm on the second night
The bedroom was fine as was the bathroom and the bed was very comfortable, also very clean room.
The dining room needed more organisation. Table booked for 6.30. was told to come back in 15 mins and was eventually seated at about 6.50. Several items of cutlery and crockery were returned in an unclean state. A staff member had to be reminded after about 15mins that only two of our (4) sweet courses had been brought to our table. We were disturbed at intervals throughout the night by noise along the corridor outside our door.
Love staying here when we visit the nec. It is so handy for the halls, it is a very comfy hotel, very clean ,lovely restaurant with good food.
Can't fault it
Very friendly staff and a warm welcome. Taxi service to the LG arena arranged very quickly.
We had great difficulty finding the hotel. The area is roundabout heaven. We found it eventually using a roundabout map given too us by a exhibition marshall.
power shower Close proximity to NEC
Lighting in the room awful Noise from next bedroom - we were in 327 and we actually complained about room 325 but was told that if the occupants were still noisy in a few hours they would do some thing about it - very poor reraction
Premier Inns are very impressive and seem to have it right in so many regards. The beds are great, the bathroom clean and the air conditioning is not oppressive.
The 'Thyme' restaurant. After a day at the exhibition halls you come back to find that the first booking you can make for dinner is 9.15pm. There is very little in the way of options for snacks either -just two machines one of which was out of order.
Nearby to NEC. Good room, clean and comfortable.
Being charged a parking fee. Waiting too long over dinner - not enough staff on. Meal was only warm so became cold quickly. No Boddingtons.
Premier inn ok,reasonably priced apart from the high cost of the food!
No shuttle bus to get to the nec!, essential if you do not want to lug back by hand the goods purchased.
The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. We paid for a premier breakfast which was a buffet of hot food, hot drinks and juice. The breakfast room was spacious and had plenty of tables for people to eat at however it was very busy the weekend we went and it would have been better to have some more staff on hand to clear tables. The staff on the day were very apologetic for our wait and helpful.
Waiting time for to get a table for breakfast however we understand it was a busy weekend. We did think it was a little overpriced considering we also had to pay extra for breakfast and car parking.
