We loved the friendly, helpful staff and the efficient service. The room was comfortable and very clean and the food was good quality and not over-priced. |

Lovely staff in restaurant. Chambermaids lovely too. Staff in reception were helpful, but see below. Awful checking in procedure - self check in just takes so long and caused a huge back up of guests in the reception. Also bedhead was coming off wall. Would have liked a couple of packets of biscuits with tea and coffee making facilities. |

The location was ideal. The food was very good, although a tad expensive. Having a speedy check in (computer) facility was brilliant as we had a late arrival and it was very busy. The only thing that let the rooms down were minor things, firstly the lighting was very cold all day and at night making it a very dull place to be - we tried to be out as much as possible. |

It was within walking distance of the NEC (we were going to the Parelli Celebration there) and there was a free car park. Having a restaurant within the hotel was good - some you have to go out of the hotel to eat. The e-check-in was terrible and the touch screen either ignored what you put or did that key three times - took far longer than it would have done with a human receptionist. The lights failed twice in our room. There were so few waiting staff in the restaurant that they couldn't cope although they tried as hard as they could, they were worked off their feet. |

The rooms were very good and good value for money. Great shower! Staff were helpful especially blonde Amy (?) in the restaurant. Very good breakfast - maybe a bit pricey if you don't eat much in the morning but fine for me! We ate in the restaurant both Friday and Saturday night. Was very impressed on Friday - much improved on 2008. Quicker service, more efficient, and the food was very nice. Saturday night was, therefore, a disappointment. Service was slow and disorganised - we asked four times for a pot of tea before it was finally served by one of the managers. My friend's veg chili was gross - I think it was quorn, which looks like meat and tastes of nothing. If you want to do veggie, just make it look like vegetables. On the plus side, she was given a replacement of veg lasagne with no quibble, and it was very nice (we'd had that the previous night). |

Weasked for fresh milk for our room and it was given immediately by a friendly member of the bar staff - on both nights we stayed there was a different person we asked. Our bathroom had no shower gel on the 2nd night and we were asked by Carl in the restaurant if everything was ok. We told him about this and he sorted it immedately. |

The staff were very helpful and any minor problems were solved immediately and without question. Very good access to nec. Clean comfortable room and fab shower!! Would have preferred to be able to control the heating of my room a little more but that is purely personal as I feel the cold due to a medical condition. However, this problem was solved by the hotel providing a second duvet so it was not a problem in the end. |

room was clean and comfortable breakfast was good. restaurant food in the evening was badly cooked and one meal was returned due to having somebodies hair in it. This was inconvienient as we had to go out out and find an alternative when we did not want to. |
