It was reasonable cheap and clean. The bar should have stayed open later however given that it was a six nationes weekend. Booking .com had confused the surname that the booking was made for. Initially the staff at the Prmeier In stated they didnt have a booking and were indeed fully booked. Not great when you consider the length of time this had all been confirmed for.

I was close to a main road and easy to find. Only one slight fault - I found the skin of the sausages at breakfast far too tough for my knife. A small issue that should be easy to correct.

An all-round very pleasant experience. Polite and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable rooms and public areas. Good meals and menu. There should be electric sockets near the bed, for personal items that need to be plugged in. The splash water from the shower flows onto the floor - a lip or channel is needed to direct it back into the bath. Also, when the restaurant is busy (eg. breakfast 12/2/12) the staff cannot keep up with the supply of food, crockery, glassware, etc., causing long waits for each course.

Clean and functional Sadly I had one of the worst nights sleep ever in a hotel. The room was oppressively warm and airless, and when i opened the window which overlooked the A48 i was kept awake by traffic noise.

Nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were clean and modern and the breakfast was very good. Convenient bus service every 15 minutes to Cardiff city centre but very difficult to get a bus back late at night. Cost of taxi very expensive at £15.

The staff were friendly and helpful for the whole of our stay and we all thouroughly enjoyed our stay. We would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel. As a family hotel perhaps some clothes drying facilities could be made available.

Compared with other hotels in north Cardiff the price and value for money are excellent. Despite being on a busy road, there was no traffic noise. Wooden window blinds were attractive and efficient. The bathroom was very small. The car park was VERY full during the whole of our 2 days at the hotel.

The bed, thought the bathroom was too small to be a family room, only room for 1 person at a time. The restaurant staff where a bit slow in serving and didn't order what we asked, they forgot the children's meals
