Small issue about expectation of another guest over sound of TV - at 7pm in the evening. Front desk confirmed that he was attempting to get money re-funded which fortunately they resisited.

Not suffiecient coffee/tea supplied in rooms. Only one chair for a room for 2-3 people. Payment on arrival rather than on leaving.

Our stay at Cardiff was very enjoyable. All staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. Both our evening meal and breakfast were also excellent. We would definitely stay here again. The room was very comfortable, clean and the hotel had all the amenities that we required. Thank you!

Reception on arrival was good. The room was clean and comfortable and they provided an extra z bed for our granddaughter in a neighbouring room. Staff were cool and professional in evacuating building after fire alarm was set off in early hours, but they needed more staff on hand to help with disabled people.Fortunately it was not raining and we went back in after twenty mins. Several fire engines had arrived promptly.

The fire alarm went off in the early hours, which obviously was not the fault of the staff, but there seemed to be no help for disabled people trying to get out. A wheelchair and occupant had to be carried by guests up five steps and then a bend and three more steps. There should be a ramp and a member of staff allocated to help with any disabled person and to give out survival bags for guests (including the severely disabled lad) in their nightwear, who may be cold standing in the car park.

Being kept waiting for 15 minutes at check in whilst receptionist on phone. After long day just wanted to get to my room! She eventually asked another member of staff to attend to me.

I have stayed for 8 nights so far and am due to stay for another 5 thos week. I don't like having to pay for WiFi. Apparently WiFi is free for the 1st 30 minutes daily, but I have yet to be able to log at all. Although ther is absolutely nothing wrong with the beds I do find teh matresses a little tpo harf for me as I often wake up with aching hips and shoulders.

We liked our stay and our meal in the restaurant.

The meals were realy good. The staff were so very friendly, you could not ask for a better service.

We were in room 624 and all night long all you could hear was a fan or a motor running. Which was very disdurbing.

Rooms were standard Premier Inn style, nice beds, pillows,good confition Bathroom and warm in the snow, ample car parking as well.

Both mornings at Breakfast the coffee machine was requesting to be cleaned. On the 1st day breakfast the supervisor gent wearing the suit was extremely scruffy with very tatty trousers and filthy trainers which was very off putting,

Clean and tidy, very good service and value for money.

Not a lot, we did have a problem getting back from the city, but this was no reflextion on the hotel.

The food was not what I would descibe as restaurant, more cafe or pub grub

only spent two nights there with my husband and to 15 girls, the room was ideal and really clean. Had a minor problem with food ordered for room but the staff were excellent and it was dealt with fast and efficiently.

There was a humming noise coming from the window. After checking in, we went straight back out, so were not aware of it until we got in after midnight and turned off the TV. By then we were too tired to do anything about it so just tried to ignore it but it did affect our sleep. The money back guarantee was brilliant. Although we did not expect it and would have been happy with just a discount, it certainly has made us more likely to stay with you again as it is such a fair policy. A negative was turned into a positive!

Road noise, but that could not be helped

The staff were really friendly and helpful, gave us a map and told us all the places to go for food, drinks etc in Cardiff. The rooms are clean and spacious and good value for money. Car parking is available.

It is about 5 miles from the city centre but it has car parking and we got a taxi into town for about 15 pounds.
