Score from 155 reviews Very good
Everything you need in a basic hotel: Good sized room. Shower works well. Comfortable bed. Sensible work desk. Right temperature. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
1st night the room above making noice until 3am. And it spoilt mine and my husband day the following day and it was our annivary
I put it was my birthday when I booked...but thought they wouldn't notice but all the staff had personally signed a card n I was given a complimentary bottle of fine which was a complete shock and lovely surprise. The staff were brilliant and breakfast tasty lol
The night staff...A gentleman wasn't very happy....looked very miserable...very surprised as all others were lovely.
Friendly staff....very clean hotel/room..
It wasn't a bad experience but I thought the bed was hard and a little uncomfortable to sleep on...(not enough to complain about though)..
All was great apart from one thing.
I paid for the upgraded wifi & it was a pain, wasn't any quicker & kept going off. That is my only negative.
Quite and pieceful staff was really helpful and polite
I was staying with my children, for personal reasons, the reception let my parents just come up to my room! Which I rely wasn't happy about! I have put in a complaint about this!
Very expensive we have familly in Thurrock and would stay more often familly all stay at premier inn near us but would stay more often if it was cheaper and a discount £61 for a night is expensive
Staff made the stay good, everything was ok
Wifi wasn't brilliant even when we paid for the faster wifi for the week.
Staff can't do enough to help
Everything from the staff to food was excellent! The cleaners must work very hard as its spotless(I hope they get more than minimum wage) the restaurant serves lovely food much fancier than you average pub grub. On arrival as it was my partners birthday her both were offered a free drink.
Everything was good! No complaints.
supposed to be free but it was rubbish, tried to watch a football game on my I Pad but could not get a good enough signal, so paid the extra £5 to upgrade but that was just as bad, very very disappointed
Very polite, helpful and friendly staff no arrival and throughout my stay
Again the WiFi service was rubbish, you advertise free WiFi but dont tell people you can only get basics like emails, when I tried to watch football on my Ipad I had to PAY to upgrade, even when I did that the reception was not good and it kept going of and redirecting me to the free WiFi, I got better WiFi at MacDonalds
1. Room was booked for 3 adults for 13 days, upon arrrival was told hotel would not be able to accomadate the third adult. 2.If hotel does not accomadate that occupancy the booking should not have went through. I traveled from the US. I had to emergently look for hotel accomadations elsewhere. 3. Initilly the staff was friendly and courteous but unfotunately was rude with some of there comments to my family. There is much more to say but limited space and I don't belive that the situation would be addressed.
The staff were without exception pleasant and helpful. The food and wine were excellent and the dining room with a relaxed ambience. Room good, beds very comfortable and clean facilities.
Just a small criticism, as my mother is disabled the bath/shower was impossible for her to use safely. Could you not have a few rooms for your disabled guests with shower only facility.
Breakfast was lovely, good selection. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Clean, helpful staff
Booked through booking.com they said I booked a family room with single person occupancy, so beds where not made up for children, also I'd paid 77.00 and because there was two adults I had to pay a extra 10.00
At mealtimes Beth gave me a lot of help with understanding what dishes contained wheat, she deserves a raise.
Tried to organise a lunch on Sunday for 25 people but staff gave me different information each time I phoned and in the end I had to organise the lunch elsewhere
Don't understand why couldn't pay cash for my booking.
Food was lovely
Unfortunately bed was far too hard and had to sleep on the little sofa in the room
Staff Food Easygoing Busy spot Happy hour on the Monday
Location was a bit in the middle of no-where on a busy roundabout No restaurant services till 6pm
Paid WiFi a bit fiddly to set up and to maintain connection.
Friendly and efficient staff. Check in process is quick. Restrautant with wide selection of food but average quality. Plenty of free parking spaces.
Prices are quite high considering the location.
Staff were happy smiley friendly. Room clean and tidy
Bar for clothes only 4foot of ground no good for long garments ect. Although there were two of us the complementary coffee sugar ect was very short supply. I would round price to £60 include full breakfast in price
