My wife and I have just returned from another perfect stay in this hotel,( our 5th or 6th visit in the past year!) Staff are a credit to this hotel. Housekeeper on 12th floor and Ashlea on reception deserve a special mention. Hotel is always clean and comfortable and we have stayed here many times. Breakfasts are tasty and plentiful and very good value. Views on upper floors are amazing, especially at night with the city lights. Friendly staff are always well presented and helpful. Great location for city life. Close to theatre, cinema, SECC, city shopping, pubs, restaurants and a short bus, or taxi ride from Glasgow's West End shopping area, museum, Art galleries, Kelvingrove Park and Botantic Gardens. Have read unfair comments recently from guests regarding heating in rooms, heating is self controlled from the unit on the room wall, so no excuse to be too cold or too warm! also unfair comment re lighting, all rooms have a desk lamp, perfect for reading, so unfair to comment that all lights require to be switched on for reading! A 'do not disturb sign' is provided for door hanging, so unfair to complain about housekeeper wakening guests in the morning!...but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. No noise or disruptions from other guests or city revellers, always a perfect stay...we have another 3 stays booked over the next 4 weeks!!!! We have stayed in double rooms and family rooms and have always found them more than adequate with very comfortable beds Highly recommend this hotel and the staff employed there. My wife and I wouldn't book in anywhere else when in Glasgow..and we have tried a few others!

Excellent location for King's Theatre, SECC and access from M8. Breakfast and dinner were excellent and staff very courteous. NCP Car Park right beside hotel and good access to City shopping (Buchanan ST) within 15 mins walk. Would definetly stay again. Don't be put off by the comments of the nearby lapdancing club - it's quite discreet and probably a bonus if your into that kind of thing! Building looks a wee bit tired on the outside but rooms, location and frendliness of staff made up for it!

Outstanding personnell - Really amazing (notwithstanding their Scot language - but by the way there was a very kind Rumenian lady, who has an understandable accent)

Within easy walking distance of city centre shops, pubs, restaurants. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, modern, spacious room with good shower and tea/coffeee making facility. Excellent, plentiful breakfast. Comfortable lounge bar/restaurant Our only fault, minor it may seem, but house wine was not good, we all left ours after a couple of sips, disappointing in an otherwise nice ambience that our hosts had not bothered to select something half decent, we are not that picky, and it is not that difficult to find, for the price charged, which wasn't cheap

The hotel was clean, food lovely and very well presented. The layout of the food area very inviting The room was clean and tidy Just recovering from a broken ankle and on crutches I found the entrance not very easy to negotiate - several steep steps and the only handrail at a very difficult angle. A slope would have been more helpful especially when having to drag a suitcase behind you Our room was also cold as the heating system did not appear to work. There was however a convector heater in the cupboard

Simplicity of check in and check out. Covenient and adequate for what I needed. Parking costs overnight at ncp very reasonable. The Air conditioning was very loud and lead to a dry, sore throat. At least it cut out any noise there might have been from traffic!

We chose We chose this hotel for our "New Year Celebration" break. From first entering the hotel, we found the staff to be very helpful. We had a problem with the heating in our room but within 5 minutes of registering the complaint, the Duty Manager (Rikki) was at the door with an additional heater and another bedside light. Although this was at 10:30pm, he was very pleasant. The Restaurant and Bar Staff soon learnt our regular requirements and routines! The New Year winds meant that train travel to Edinburgh was cancelled. The Reception Staff were exceedingly helpful checking train cancellation updates and times for the following day. A very memorable stay

The hotel and staff were very good with excellent food Too much noise making sleep. very hard to get. I reliase that it was new years eve but felt more could have been done to ask guest's to be more considerent. The noise levels spoilt our enjoyment and stay.
