Clean rooms... With all facilities you could want at this price. Would recommend to family and friends.
Bed was a bit hard for our liking ...however we are used to a softer Bed.
Heating not working. Poor night sleep.
easy to get to and comfortable
had to queue to check in for 15 mins but the staff were doing there best.
We were treated to a very warm and efficient welcome. Lenny would have been proud of every one of his team!
Bed comfy, shower good, room basic but clean. Cleaning staff very friendly
On several occasions the bar ran out of glasses they seemed to be left for someone else to clean. Considering it was graduation week there seemed not to be enough staff on and those who were seemed very new.Sorry to say not as nice as Holiday Inn
Just about everything
The signage from the road could be improved slightly.
Service and the breakfast choice
The pillows, four different ones but not one suited me. I admitt that I only use the memory foam pillows at home
lady on reception was very polite, the layout of the hotel was great I felt as if I was staying in a motel in America.
Booked at very short notice and staff couldn't have been more helpful.
Only very small problem was the highchair was too small for our 16 month old daughter. The straps weren't long enough.
The bathroom was spotlessly clean. I'm glad there was a Bible at the bedside table. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The restaurant could do a better job
Great Location Great Staff Great Food
On the 2nd night we had drainage issues with the toilet making noises and strange smells coming through the bath plug hole
Location perfect. Staff very friendly and helpful. Special mention for Hayley and Johanna.
Bed was very comfortable
Restaurant a little cramped, but food very good
Reception service was excellent with staff helpful and knowledgable. Restaurant staff friendly and helpful particularly the breakfast team.
The room temperature was too warm 24.5c could not turn it down. Spoke to reception who offered a portable fan as a solution. Not ideal and led to uncomfortable sleep for a family of four sharing.
Friendly staff - especially upon check in.
Good size room with comfortable large bed. Very good restaurant with attentive staff. Good size carpark.
Stuck on a commercial estate beyond Sainsburies (in the French style). (You need a car to go anywhere.) Noise insullation between rooms could be better.
Brilliant staff, good location, good breakfast, value for money
Pillows, no phone, less choice of drinks, few of my friends staying with us experienced some noises
Good location for us.
We had room 101 a family room. BUT had no air conditioning. There was a fan but was very noisy and could not leave on over night & room overlooked busy road so could have window open. Should of been put in a room with air con as we had small children that could not sleep as it was so HOT
The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming.
Everything was good.
All of it
Good location and excellent restaurant.
Good choice of cold and hot foods for breakfast. Choice of soft or firm pillows. Big comfortable bed. Availability of freeview on TV.
No hairdrier in room. No telephone in room if we needed to contact reception.
The staff were excellent, very helpful. They brought out child a birthday card as they heard it was her birthday. We would stay there again.
Straightforward to find, plenty of free parking. Despite out-of-town location, just ten minute drive to the City Centre. Very friendly and helpful staff. Spotlessly clean rooms and public areas. Excellent menu in the restaurant, a varied selection, pitched at the right price and cooked to a very good standard. Rooms prepared very tidily and to a good basic level of comfort.
Our first floor room was close to an almost constant source of heat (a laundry room?) so despite the provision of an electric fan the room was always a few degrees too warm for comfort. (26C at 4.30am with the window open in September!) The room contains a bed, sofa bed and an office chair. I would prefer an armchair so there is somewhere comfortable to read a book. The restaurant was insufficiently staffed on two of the three nights we dined there, leading to some embarrassingly long delays. This problem could be eased if there were fewer tables in the restaurant - particularly in the alcove area - where they are squeezed so closely together it is almost claustrophobic. It is very difficult to hold a private conversation at one table without being overheard at the next. One poor man asked to be moved to another table because the waitress couldn't pass behind him without bumping into him. That said, despite the best efforts of the pressurised staff, the restaurant was simply not large enough to manage the throughput or peak demands of weekend breakfast times.
