Had a problem with the bathroom towel/soap, they resolved it and were very eager to apologise and put it right etc.
Helpful young man on Reception Tom
Lack of air con. Despite fan being provided, had to have window open, lots of road noise, little sleep
\clean comfortable room/great staff..exceptionally friendly/welcoming.. excellent well cooked breakfast
Location is a bit.....naff? Need a guide to find it
Good and clean, staff very helpful
If you need wifi, you're stuffed
Perfect place to stay whilst visiting family. Enjoyable first visit a month ago ensured our return.
No air con but large fan adequate.
Staff were lovely, food was good, bedroom was clean and tidy
Room was unfortunately far too hot, couldn't have the window open as A41 was next to hotel, couldn't have the fan running all night, didn't sleep very well
Staff good, Room good, Breakfast good, Location good for us.
Is a very noisy site due to traffic on the A41 and lorries leaving there depot in Bourne End.
The Inn was easy to find and centrally situated for our family history search weekend. All the staff were welcoming and willing to help with any request.
The bed in room 40 was comfortable but some springs must have been on the way out as they frequently went ' boing' when you moved.
Fantastic staff, good parking, nice restaurant, comfortable and clean
The accessable rooms did not have wet room bathrooms
Friendly Staff, Lovely Breakfast, Great Service, Lovely Comfortable Rooms...Brilliant Stay!
Staff were very polite & helpful when they were found. Food was good when it arrived.
Very poorly staffed. One waitress for restuarant & bar, receptionist came to help.
great rooms&beds ample parking,great staff
dining room&bar too small
Staff, Room, Parking. Excellent Breakfast Pros defiantly out-weighed the cons
Industrial Location, No Lounge - only Restaurant. Some room wear and tear.
Staff were extremely helpful, we wanted to know how much it would cost for a taxi from the hotel to another location, the receptionist made every effort to ring a few companies to find the best deal even though we were only enquiring. We needed an iron that evening, receptionist brought one up almost immediately. Friendly check in. Cannot fault staff at all.
AC was not working that during our stay (not sure if this is an every day thing for the hotel). However, a fan was provided, although this did trigger my asthma at night. No telephone in room so each time we needed something we had to go to the reception.
The Meal deal The rooms were clean and fairly spacious The bath
No air conditioning The advertising for the food was misleading. It said "Kids eat for free" but we were charged for the childrens meals in the evening. It needs to be more explicit. If the kids eat free only at breakfast it should say so.
Bed, duvet, pillows
Loud receptionist with poor communication skills; Breakfast not worth even half of the price
Very helpful and efficient staff
Friendly helpful staff especially Shona who printed out a route map for me. They were approachable and ever helpful. I should also like to mention Cassie- most efficient. Indeed, all staff most impressive.
Really it was all very good and the staff did all they could to overcome the lack of air-conditioning in alarmingly hot weather.
Good price for double & breakfast.
We stayed one evening due to plans locally: the hotel was easy to find and has the convenience of a service station next door, but far away enough you don't hear anything. Staff were incredibly helpful and polite.
Although provided with a fan, there was no air-con available. The room was stuffy as the weather's been so hot. Air-con is needed on days like that! But still thankful for the fan. We didnt see the restaurant opening times on the menu in the room, whether they're not obvious or not on there i'm not sure, but it was disappointing to have thought about what we wanted, for it to then be shut anyway
Breakfast excellent. Staff good
on 11th July we experienced our first stay at a premier inn in Ross on Wye. We were very pleased , comfortable bed & pillows as per your advert. It was however a very warm day and the room was quite warm, but we had 2 fans which remained on all night which helped keep it cool & we slept well. So we were looking forward to the next stay in Hemel Hempstead. We were given room 61 which was on the top floor & quite frankly the heat in the room & corridor was unbearable and we got no relief from it at all & found it impossible to sleep despite having one fan in the room & the window open all night. We got out as quickly as possible next morning & made our complaint to reception, all the staff were very nice & apologised and refunded the money for the room, which incidentally did not have a hypnos bed in it, so was not 'as per your advert'. Since coming away from this premier inn , we would totally rethink staying with you again, we had already made a third booking for another event we are attending in August at South Mimms premier inn, but the receptionist at hemel phoned them & confirmed they do have A/C otherwise we would have cancelled this booking. I have become more annoyed as the days have passed about this as I do not feel rooms should even be presented in this condition and certainly it would appear we are not alone in this thinking. Very Very disappointed, as totally spoilt our weekend.
Staff were amazing, really friendly & helpful from reception to bar staff. Pleasure to deal with & didn't mind helping with any questions or queries that we had. Room was spacious and bed was comfy, bathroom clean & shower hot. Enjoyed my weekend stay.
No air conditioning, the room was like an oven. A fan was provided but the weather was just too warm.
The fact there was a restaurant on site meant we didn't have to travel out when we got there late. Nice and helpful staff
Not the hotels fault but if it is going to be warm stay away! They did provide fans and water but even with those it was over 30 degrees in the room on the admittedly rather warm nights we were staying, did get a great thunderstorm though.
The staff were fantastic. Also it was perfect for an overnight stay.
It's not in a location if holidaying but just off the road at the services.
Friendly staff and to the usual high standards you can expect.
As it's located on a 'Services junction' it's a bit isolated.
