Difficult to answer the classification of this hotel as we just stopped the one night on business so no chance to explore the surrounding area. As we remarked to the staff as we left...much better than Travel Lodge, better quality furniture/decor, it was nice to have such friendly staff greeting us on our arrival!. I had a neck operation a few years ago and find it hard to find a comfortable pillow, the pillows provided are excellent, must find out where they get them!!

Good-sized room, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Nothing to dislike, although, as with most hotel chains, I think breakfast is over-priced, and we never seem to be able to get the much- advertised £29 deal!

It would be helpful if doors opened automatically or inwards on arrival when one is tired after travel!

The night I stayed there was a problem with the power supply which meant that there was no tv. I also had to move rooms as the lights kept going off in the room I started in. The staff were very helpful especially Claire who was on reception that night. They all worked hard to resolve the problems however it was quite disruptive.

comfortable, good value, pleasant efficient staff. 1st night, strong smell of cleaning products, staff explained it was carpet shampoo. They kindly moved us to room where carpet had not been cleaned that day, and that was fine. Very helpful and understanding.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The area was quiet. The breakfast was served quickly and was good. Being woken up for a 6.30am early morning call at 7.00am. It meant I had to miss breakfast and the start of my day was very stressful.

All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the room was good value and all the food served was of good guality and service. The room was functional, clean and comfortable. The food deal for breakfast and evening meal was good value for money. The room was quite with no issue of MacDonalds noise. My only minor compliant which was booking related was that the room that I booked was a triple twin room (twin with an additional bed for my daughter). There is some confunsion with the booking dot.com system as when we arrived only a twin had been booked. I had even queried this with booking.dot com after the booking was placed and was informed I had booked a room with three beds these needs investigating. The hotel were helpful in resolving the issue quickly by placing an extra bed in the room.

It was warm and comfortable, just right for my (adult) daughter, just off a plane from Thailand. It was very qiet - we didnt hear a thing from other guests. Not enough tea bags and only dried milk. (Fortunately we had anticipated this and brought our own)

The room was warm, comfortable and clean, the breakfast and breakfast service was very good, and the receptionists were friendly and talkative. The full-price was extremely expensive. (I had a discount).
