Free parking as of being hotel guests. Good location to go tocity center.
Heater is irregularly working. There 's no refrigerator in room.
Excellent value for money. The staff couldn't have been more helpful when it came to returning some GGDs we left in Reception.
Bed, food and proximity to Central area
Car park full and had to use secondary park and carry 8 suitcases
The bed had the potential for comfortable sleep, if there were no loud noise, based on my previous experience. The bar was good. The buffet was good. The location was good. The shower was good. The hotel staff were all-in-all respectful [although it would’ve been nice if they agreed to microwave my food, as I don’t like wasting food]. Furthermore, despite the noise, my partner slept peacefully all night. She apparently had ear plugs and an eye mask on. Thus, it appears a way around the noisy room problem is for the hotel to provide good ear plugs to guest, at the very least.
Their guarantee of a good night’s sleep seduced me into staying in this hotel. Additionally, during my stay on 1-3 Oct 2014, I slept well, despite the fact the room had many shortcomings [the main 1 being that it was unbearably hot, and there was little you could do about this—The hotel could address this problem by either setting up a user-controlled cross-ventilation system or installing air-conditioners in every room]. Unfortunately, my sleep on 4 Dec 2014, in particular, was probably 1 of the worst sleeping experiences I’ve ever had. How can the hotel be permitted to put anyone in that room, let alone charge hard-earned money for such poor service? The room is directly opposite the Nottingham Trent university campus area. The nights I stayed seemed to be party nights. Crowds of drunk students screaming, it was continuous loud madness, all night. This was also amplified by the noisy trams stopping outside the hotel. Closing the windows and shutting the bathroom door had little effect in reducing the noise. Consequently, I couldn’t get enough sleep . The only way I managed to get some sleep was by using 3 pillows to block my ears, and my face, which was quite suffocating. Unfortunately, I was awoken at around 6am by the noises and loud conversations of guests next door. So, in total, I ended up just having about 2 hours of sleep. I had a very important function to attend, and in which I needed to be at my best possible form of alertness and performance. Because of the sleeplessness, I was irritable, overly reactive, tired, etc., all day. I even arrived late for my appointment, because the sleeplessness made me unmotivated, tired, and slow all morning. I was disappointed in the hotel because I specifically requested that if they didn’t have a quiet room, they should inform me 3 weeks before my arrival, so that I could book an alternative hotel. Thus, I felt cheated because I paid for service which I didn’t get.
I liked that the staff were friendly. The room was super clean and the location was really central.
The lifts took quite a while. The car park was completely full, had to park far away and carry heavy things to the hotel.
Wifi just 30 min for free
Friendly staff, lovely food and very clean and comfy
Limited parking!! Had to park in a Very expensive car park in which premier inn do put a discount on but still expensive on top of the room prices. Too far to walk from car park to hotel with bags and young children.
Paying for parking
Great value for money. Good location, good sized rooms and very comfortable. Would stay again!
Friendly staff, clean comfortable room in central location
Having stayed in many Nottingham hotels this was our absolute favourite. Representing excellent value for money yet with all the facilities/services you require. Staff very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was divine, I only wish we'd eaten there the night before!
The beds were comfy but could have been a touch softer. Other than that a perfect stay!
we thought the staff were very helpful and the hotel in general was very good,in a great location we would highly recommend this hotel.
Restaurant and Costa coffee/ easy access
No space in car park to park
Good location, the lady who checked us in was really nice and friendly.
Value for money wasn't great but this could be due to the time of year (coming up to Christmas) and it being a Saturday.
My companion had an excellent nights sleep in the very comfortable and warm large double bed. Room was clean and facilities were good. Breakfast was excellent.
Single bed was not comfortable at all, compared to the large double bed it felt like a camp bed. It was near the window and I spent a lot of the night cold due to the heater not working efficiently.
Very helpful reception staff
Very noisy room due to trams passing the bedroom window. Kept me awake.
we stayed in room 231 it was very clean and very quiet and a very nice temperature.Breakfast was excellent and the young lady serving was friendly and helpful as were the rest of the staff
we would have liked maybe a bit more choice on the evening menu overall a very pleasant stay
Lisa on reception was ever so helpful making our stay as smooth and pleasant as possible.
Hotel very quiet at night
There was no hairdryer and mirrors and lighting were not good for putting on makeup.
Staff were great and it was excellent value for money
