I booked and received emsail confirmation. On arrival, I was told that my booking had not been received, but I was "lucky" and rooms were available. I stayed (and paid for) the two nights originally booked, and on my return was sent a letter saying I had to pay a no-show fee for the 1st night. It tool three separate phone calls to the hotel to eventually get credit card refund. The staff seemed very inefficient. If you park in the nearbye Stevenage Leisure Park, whilst staying in the hotel, be very very careful. They will clamp you(£125 charge!) if you leave their parking area to go to the town, the railway station and even to the Arts and Leisure Centre, which you might reasonably think is part of the same organisation! |

Clean, comfortable, plenty of car parking, good breakfast. Centrally Located. Friendly Staff. Decent sized bath, Plenty of mains sockets in room. Noisy with Aircraft from nearby Luton Airport and a1 traffic (if you open the windows ok (but stuffy..!) if you keep them closed. Internet wifi access quite expensive. |

The staff were very helpful even though they had a full hotel that night, the food was good in the restaurant to and the service was excellent. I stayed at this hotel as the one that I normally use was boojed, and I will definately return here, good value for money bed was great and no faults at all. |
