Clean chalet nicer than last time.all my special guest request were met!all activitys were open.check was quick and even though morris dancing and netball was on there was no problems.
Going home my kids were sulking.
Location Main Facilities Accommodation clean
Accommodation didn't match illustration We expected two bedrooms! The settee in the lounge was most uncomfortable to sleep on! Lack of Parking spaces was an issue Sunday morning the courtyard was scarred with strewn litter.( Assumed that was due to some guests ? )
The entertainment was great for children. Lovely clean beach close by
The chalet was dirty, beds were uncomfortable. The site in general was dirty, the drinks in the bar were awful. Late check in at 4pm and early check out 10am.
We like it they lots for the kids to do in the day time we think it was a very safe place to let my kids run around and in joy them self's very clean entertainment bwas brilliant staff was very helpful and very pleasant to my kids who have aurtism can't wait to go back again
At night time it was very noise we was on the bottom and all upstairs done was bang banging kids playing football late at night drunks making to much noise shouting and swearing everynite
All staff were very obliging and couldn't help you enough Booked to go again 3rd October as was so good !
Poor quality glasses, plates and cups Will take my own next time
The food was the only thing that was any good. The rest of the camp was appalling, it was dirty full of liter and rubbish, there were beer bottles, and empty beer glasses just dumped outside the pub not gathered in from the night before. The chalet was filthy we had to complane. It was in fact one of the worst resorts i have ever been to. I would never recommend it to anyone.
Sorry listed all i didn't like above.
Bluecoats are brilliant and good entertainment.new go karts and bouncy castles kids entertained allday.
Have to wait a while in the chippy at busy times could do with more staff at peak times.
Food was fairly decent on most occasions. Our chalet was clean and we had a comfortable stay (however we saw evidence of chalet's dirty and not cleaned).
Toilets and changing rooms were dirty & smelly, Pool staff were seen using a dirty smelly mop in pool area. restaurant staff were not very helpful. Major concern was a lack of trained first aiders during a witnessed incident of injury to a child. Sometimes the standard of food was poor and over cooked. Not enough catering for young children and no desserts for kids. We spoke to reception staff regarding a few items, (1, no remote for TV, 2, no toaster, 3, broken window in chalet kitchen area) we got no follow up. We have concerns that if we booked again we would not get same standard of chalet or if we went self catering that the facilities and equipment in the kitchen were insufficient for our needs.
Dirty bathroom. (I cleaned it myself) Faulty light (they did fix after notified) broken bed (unusable sofa bed, they did not fix) ummm not great.
The room was in a ok location
cleanliness of chalet was bogging to the extent it was filthy
Room hadnt been cleaned from previous occupants, reported to staff who said it would be sorted. Had to complain 4 times in total, staff were unhelpful and didnt care. At 11.30pm we finallu got our room cleaned our children were shattered and irritable! Will never use pontins again!
staff dealt with my issue and bent over backwards to solve the problem
queing at the bar ,lack of seating in bar area,no automatic doors for whellchair chair users, all play stuff eg bikes etc should be free when on the complex.
Clean, well equipped room, lots to do, very cheap. Perfect for young families.you get what you pay for, the food was average quality but plentiful.
One member of the reception staff was rude and sarcastic. She appeared to enjoy telling me that the travel cot I had booked wasn't available. Suggested I bought one from Tesco!
The entertainment was about the best thing
The accomodation was poor, the food was not very nice and not alot of selection theres not alot on site
Blue coats tried there best.
old furniture bbroken falling apart. Food cheep frozen stodge. Dirty looks unkempt. Some Other holiday people staying quite rude and rough.
entertainment,food was excellent,prices ,shop,pub,chippy,staff amusement arcade
accomodation, double bed was a joke, shower wasnt much good, cleanliness was terrible in room
A lot of children friendly activities
Noise from other families and children playing football around the chalets.
The place was filthy and disgusting I didn't feel clean till I got home
The setting is quite nice - there is a big park with excellent playground stuff for young children. Having stayed at camps before the club was as expected but with added bonus of there being a pub like room it meant that the entertainment could be avoided if you wished for some quiet. The supermarket on the site was well stocked and had some good pound toys for the kiddies e
Apart from looking like an open prison. The accommodation was disgusting. It felt like a 70's council flat that had never been touched. The shower was pathetic. The electric had to be paid for. The couch springs had gone so it couldn't be used as a bed. The floor was just filthy. Totally dispiriting The chippy was awful The rides were expensive in the arcade We paid top dollar for our 3 night stay because of the time of year. I would never go back for fifth of that price
Arrived to find the room had not been cleaned. Found mouldy food on the floor, bathroom covered in talc, faeces floating in the toilet with the bowl covered in skid marks, toe nails and balls of previous guests hair in the bedroom. Collared a cleaner on the way to reception to complain where they gave us their life story about already done their own rooms and that them cleaning our room was a favour. Paid half board as thought it would be convenient to eat evening meals and breakfast on site. Big mistake. Food was of a very low standard and cleanliness of the food hall seemed to be an after thought. On return to the room the favour we got from the cleaner was a quick 2 minute dash around with a sweeping brush. So off to reception we went where we queued for 15 minutes only to be sent to our room like naughty school children to wait for a 'manager' to come and assess the severity of the state of the room. 3 hours passed with 4 more trips to reception for no one to attend. In the end giving up and heading to the local supermarket for cleaning products so the room could be cleaned by ourselves. That brought us onto the task of trying to sleep. The single bed mattresses were not designed for comfort, cheap and cheerful. My children refusing to sleep on them as they were too lumpy and curling up on the floor was more appealing. The saving grace was the cheap futon sofa which on a normal day wouldn't be very appealing to sleep on but it was the best the room had to offer so 3 children squeezed onto it. After a sleepless night caused by uncomfortable sleeping arrangements and rowdy guest we headed off for breakfast. Which was the final straw on the camels back. Bacon and sausages swimming in grease, powder made scrambled egg, toast which had been toasted 4 hours before, stale cereal, I was surprised to find fresh milk. After having booked for a few days one night was enough. Home time. Now onto the impossible task of a refund.
