great reception, friendly staff, clean room, value for money, great breakfast.

room radiator not turned on resulting in cold night in bed! next morning no hot water available for shower(confirmed by other guests.)

The hotel was very close to the city centre. We were conducting family history research and the record office was just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We were in room 105 and it was very quiet. Breakfast was good, staff helpful, the whole was excellent value for money.

The staff were helpful and friendly.

The Post Code supplied makes it virtually impossible to find the hotel. The staff's quite helpful response is to suggest you programme a nearby street name which is useful but still doesn't quite get you there. Luck appears to play a major part in finding the hotel. Surely something could be done about this?

the rooms were comfortable,plenty of space had everything that we required.

the noise from the main road when window was open, noisy residents at 3.30am talking loudly and people arguing at the tops of there voices at 3.30am

The fittings and fixtures the decor and the food quality. the good parking and central location.

Reception was good. Late bar.

Breakfast no eggs bacon sausage plates, had to wait for all or some of these on both days. When asked first day girl said "there would be at some point". Very poor service

rooms facing road are noisy.my request at time of booking for a rear-facing room was not passed on to the hotel, although when I asked at check in I was given one.

Helpful staff, cheep room (yet booked quite late) on site car park, attractive lobby & lounge, comfortable clean room, crisp sheets all smelling wonderfully clean, lots of space to hang clothes, space for suitcase, space for makeup etc in room, space for toiletries in bathroom, lighting good, breakfast exceptional!

Lift was very noisy (we were in room next to lift shaft) thankfully people weren't using it after we'd gone to bed, but was noisy again in the morning after we awoke. The bed was VERY soft - we feared we'd wake up with bad backs, but thankfully we didn't. There was a little mould in the corner of the window.

Nice big baths in the room, so many hotels now dont have baths in the rooms and that was the reason for uor visit And the satff were very helpfull
