I found the staff to be very helpful. particularly Lindsay (receptionist) who managed to guide us to the Hotel as satnav wanted us to turn left on 1 way street (Marsh Lane) Hotel was very accomodating allowing us to leave our car in the car park for several hours after checking out. The breakfast offered a wide variety and was cooked well. Limited amount of milk cartons in room although reception provided additional quantity. |

Modern hotel with excellent facilities. Breakfast was being served from 7 which was too late for me as I had to catch a morning train. |

Very comfortable rooms, spotlessly clean. Few mins walk to town centre and good parking. Ask for a quiet room otherwise you could be next to the ringroad. The bar was poor, just a tag on to the reception. Lacks a restaurant. |

Everything was good about the hotel. The staff pleasant and helpful, the room clean and comfortable, the breakfast very good and the price was very reasonable. |

Value for money. Cleanliness. Free Wi Fi. Location handy for university visit. Narrow lift and doors/doorways and corridors. Not sure how accessible it would have been if I had needed my wheelchair as I sometimes do. |

Closeness to city centre. Receptionist on phone when we arrived. Waited , which is fine but would have been more welcoming to have had a smile and ackowledgement that we were waiting. She provided map when asked but did not know where Guilhall was which is a key theatre/concert venue. A constantly running cysten was reported but we were not moved until we asked a couple of hours later. |

The comfortable rooms, good breakfast. Close proximity to shops/dining/entertainment. Did not have a room suitable for three adults - had to book two rooms which added to the cost. |

Room was clean. Location is central and convenient for Preston centre, but also quiet. Reception staff were less than friendly. Breakfast very basic quality. Felt as if the hotel was fitted out on the cheap. Preston is short of good value central hotels so there isn't actually a lot of choice. |

I use this hotel when visiting my son at university at Preston. The location is excellent for where he lives and also walking into the City for shopping/eating etc. I asked for the same room I stayed in the last time as it was quiet and I'm a light sleeper. That request was accommodated, however the room opposite me was occupied by some young men returning at 4am, drunk, shouting and playing loud music. I completed the comment card when checking out. Hard to see how the hotel can monitor this type of behaviour, not really their fault other guests are inconsiderate I guess. The air conditioning in the breakfast room is always too cold! |

There had been a mix up with my booking, It was resolved quickly and apparently easily, and with good humour, as soon as I arrived. Its location, down a side street was not exactly impressive. |

Comfy bed, flat screen TV and lovely breakfast As a first time visitor to Preston some local information brochures in the room would have been useful. |
