The staff were excellent, it was a family occasion that lasted all day, the staff couldn't do enough for us. The buffet was great and the evening meal was fab. A big thank you. The room was spacious and just what we needed.

Simple hotel, owners recently taken over I believe. Warm friendly owner and staff, comfortable room with good restaurant in main part of building Unfair to criticise when owners in process of settling in but could do with more plugs nearer bed in my room for phones etc. Rooms could do with "tidying up" but I am sure that this process is underway

Adequate car park. Made to feel welcome. Price Ok and location suited us. Rather tired looking and dated. We were in the motel type annexe. Venetian blinds do not give complete privacy when light in room is on.

Comfortable room, good meal in restaurant Breakfast a joke. Service very poor, no jams or marmalade, only kiddies cereals, not enough dishes, no milk, little juice, £6.50 additional charge for a full english. Not enough towels in room. Only 1 teacup in double room.

Staff very welcoming and friendly. Value for money. Food was good. We had a room in the chalet bugalow block just outside the main hotel. The room decor was quite tired and the walls scuffed. The room also felt a little damp.

The staff were friendly & welcoming, the breakfast was plentiful, the accomodation was of a good standard & clean. The hotel is in a good location as is easy to find, has plenty of off road parking & is just a 15 minute walk from Yeovil town centre. Good value for money. The management with prior arrangement allowed us to leave at 14.00hrs at no extra charge as we were attending my daughters wedding. Thank you The Preston Hotel. Regards Amanda & Paul

Location was prime reason for selecting this hotel as we were visiting family who live nearby, room was clean and warm, bed was very comfortable and the quiet location ensured a good night`s sleep, the continental breakfast was adequate and staff were very helpful Parking was a wee bit tight but not a major problem and service a bit slow at breakfast but again not a major problem we will certainly return there on our next trip to Yeovil

The room was clean and comfortable and totally suitable for our short stay over the week-end. The staff were all extremely helpful and pleasant even though they were very busy during meal times. Nothing was too much trouble for the bar/restaurant staff which made us feel very welcome and if we had any questions, they were dealt with in a very polite and professional manner. The food in the restaurant was excellent!!

This is a very charming family-owned hotel with very friendly helpful staff. No frills but everything you need for a short stay and all is spotlessly clean. The food in the restaurant, also the set menu, is Excellent value for money! Free Wifi. Early-riser's breakfast. Shower hot water pressure! The hot water temperature is quenched as soon as the cold tap is opened the slightest bit (at least in my room #2)
