The staff were very friendly and obliging.The room was nicely laid out and the bathroom was spacious.. Not much storage for longer than a weekend stay. Slightly tired, and the housekeeping could have been sharper |

The Priest House On The River is a good alternative for accommodation in Derby e.g. for visiting Rolls-Royce. Plenty of opportunities to relax in a natural environment. Excellent restaurants. |

Location, service, staff Bathroom was far too small. A La Carte was expensive as was the wine list. There are restaurants where I live that often appear in the national press and none are as expensive. Huge mark up on wine. |

Excellent staff. Great bed! Ambience of hotel enjoyable and relaxing. The only criticism would be that some of the furnishings are looking a little "tired" i.e. stair carpet threadbare in places, mould stains on bed room carpet. |

location was lovely Room was dirty and full of spiders. Carpets very stained throughout the hotel. Al a carte menu only had 2 choices. |

service, staff friendliness, appealing location. nice decor, very comfortable quality bed and pillows very loud music from wedding reception till quite late - specifically as booked for a quiet, early night. not being able to open the window for fresh air due to river flies. no fridge in room |

Beautiful setting - a real escape, which was very much needed. Food was excellent Lack of air conditioning, and with the outside lights attracting midges/flies and moths etc, having the window open was difficult, consequently the room was rather hot and stuffy |
