Clean room, very warm but comfortable

really nice hotel.staff was helpful and nice.room was clean and comfy.its open 24hrs.location was good.only 25 mins walk to birmingham city center.its near to aston villa and star city.free car parking.

the brakfast is ok not too bad but not worth in £5.00.non-smoking room.

It's a modest b@b on a round.about in a fairly grim area of Birmingham.It was very basic but relatively clean. The staff in the hotel were very nice though.

It's hard to complain about it, because the manager was so polite and his staff were lovely, but it was a very odd place, a man on prayer mat turned towards Mecca probably at the front desk,was the first thing to greet me. but I felt safe enough there. The night I stayed it was impossible to find any hotel room in Birmingham because of a Spring Fair event in the city. I was lucky to get a room in the city that night.

Simple, ensuite bathroom was clean and the shower was not a dribbler.

Unfortunately when it's budget you pay you can't count on other patrons being as considerate as you. After having a terrible nights sleep, I needed a coffee not the tea that was on offer in my room.

Prime Lodge for me was a stopgap as I had a dispute with my wife and it served the purpose for the required time needed to sort out my life. Thank you for my time spent but several maintenance items need attending too, otherwise people will not return very readily.

Service was good. Even though I missed breakfast they were happy to give me some breakfast at 11am before I left.

Value for money and location

I've never done a bad review befoe, but the prime lodge was below any standards and below any star rating ( it had a 3 star), i was asked when do i want breakfast, i asked for 8am, 8am knock on door and we were told breakfast is on the table, on arrival the overfried broken egg was on the plate along side was a small dish of beans to share, 6 slices of cold toast covered with kitchen towel paper, 2 buuters and 2 jams, one large plastic kettle, 2 tee bags and 2 coffee tubes, that was it for £5 each, besides location to motorway there is nothing else i could say good, do not stay here.thank you graham
