nice and very comfortable room.free wi-fi friendly staff.room was clean.nice breakfast.its was really nice stay.

Close to Duddeston station, which is easily accessible from New Street. It was very cheap - a real budget hotel. Free wifi was available and the room did have tea making faciilites (no coffee). The reception is 24 hour and the reception staff are pleasant. It was clean. If I needed another budget night in Birmingham, I would stay there again. But I wouldn't recommend it to other people - as a backpacker, I have pretty low standards.

We were charged an additional £2 for using any form of plastic to pay for the hotel room. The problem: this wasn't said anywhere on the site, they demand payment upfront and there isn't a cashpoint around for miles. So - you don't have a choice but to pay the extra unacceptable charge. Debit cards cost just 25p to process?! Quality of the diy in the hotel is shocking. The area that the hotel is situated in must be rough, as the hotel front door is locked at all times and will only be opened to guests - not the hotels fault though. The heating cannot be controlled in the room, which is only an issue because the building is very poorly insulated - when the heating was turned off at night the place was absolutely freezing. We slept in our jumpers.

excellent for city break .This hotel is ideal for visiting Birmingham and enjoying its history and importance. Service was well above expectations and location ideal.excellent value for money. staff extremely helpful ..Nice little hotel.The room was clean and the bed comfortable, which was all that was required and good value for the price

The staff were very friendly. The lady even offered to spread chocolate spread on my children's toast so that my breakfast did not get cold. The rooms were warm and clean. It was close to a train station Duddeston, which was lucky as we did not take the car. All in all given how cheap it was we got very good value for money.

There was tea bags in the room but not coffee. As it was it was not an issue for me because we arrived so late but if we had got there earlier I would have loved a cup of coffee.

I feel almost ok it is good location wise and cheap as well

If your looking for the cheapest hotel in Birmingham this has got to be it!! £6 for a taxi into town and you can roll in at any hour.

What can you say. It was cheap and had a bed. If you want more than that then spend more money. It is annoying to hear people gripe about a mouldy bathroom etc. when they have paid £25, that is about the price of 2 nights at a camp site!!. I have stayed in hostels to 5* hotels and have never felt the need to complain, you get what you pay for.

The staff was extremely arrogant and stubborn. It was as if they had never heard of customer service. The manager argued with us again and again and demanded to scan our ids and keep them in the system without any reason. It was totally against data protection as she did not delete them when we left which she agreed upon earlier. She was extremely rude and could not answer any of our question.

It was extremely cheap

It was very basic E.g no coffee only teabags, tiny en-suite in poor condition but wouldn't expect any more for the price and have stayed in worse!!

This hotel is beyond basic. Don't be fooled by the price. It would still be too much if they charged over £20.

the location was good to get into the city and it was nice and warmthe girl was nice and helpfull .

the bed was to small and the breakfast was very poor and the man was very unsociable

Value for money.

Radiator was too hot.

No tv, no clean towels no service rubbish.
