Clean, comfortable and easily accessible
Good, clean facilities, very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent location
free fruit, juice and water etc, able to use the kitchen, very near to lots if food outlets. free secure parking in London is a bonus, all staff were really helpful.
The walls are a little thin but the whole place was very quiet, we had no complaints on noise. Rooms are small but of nice new spec, so we didn't mind.
From the outside it doesn't look very appealing. However, inside the entire hotel is brand new. It is very modern and clean amenities. They provided free self serve bottle of water and fruit from the lobby, which was a really nice touch. They also have a full kitchen were you can store or even make food. Really clean and new. Staff was nice and you felt very welcomed with a family run sort of feel about the place. We were there for a convention in the Excel and it is about a 4min walk to the front door of the convention centre.
I wanted a hotel neat Prince Regent DLR and having booked here, found that it was a good 10 minutes walk away. Was prepared to forfeit my booking fee but went ahead anyway. Good decision. Hotel staff were extremely helpful when we arrived with 6+ suitcases. Room was well equipped, clean and just what we needed for a good night's sleep. Breakfast next morning was better than expected. Had booked a minicab to Heathrow next day and hotel's location worked in our favour as we were closer to the main routes through the city.
Location was fantastic. Staff, facilities were great. Free fruits, drinks etc in exception of the Bed & Breakfast.
the area in which the hotel was awful I felt very uncomfortable!
The staff were polite
Proximity to the London City Airport Nice balcony
Bed was too small/hard
Easy check-in Friendly staff Good facilities Decent breakfast included Free wi-fi Use of kitchen Free coffee/tea Free fresh fruit Good transport links
Friendly staff, clean and a lovely breakfast I would recommend this hotel to any one q
The staff we friendly and helpful. Love the free secure parking. Great location for Excel. We were very well looked after and even got a free upgrade to a larger room on arrival. Thank you!!
The only down side was the noisy main road right outside the window, a room at the back would have been better.
Fresh fruit available. Close to bus and rail links.
WIFI did not work Poor breakfast Neigbourhood No windows Poor hotel accomodation (bar, lounge, telephone to call reception)
Room was OK except no window Close to Excel convention center
Not the best of streets, but only a 5 minute walk from Excel
Very friendly. Free water, juice and fruit at any time from the reception / kitchen area
The area is somewhat dodgy
Eating area too open, being located in foyer but not really any space for a dining room from what we could see.
Cosy room with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff.
Lots of road noise all night long. The parking on-site isn't really - you park (safely) on the road outside. The "annexe" isn't an annexe. It's a converted terraced house about 50 metres down the street. This is a hotel in only the vaguest sense. There is no lounge, no bar, no restaurant, nothing. It's more like a B & B. The price of £65 is about right, I wouldn't pay any more to stay here.
Very helpful and pleasant staff. Good quality room.
The traffic noise bothered me when I was trying to sleep
Staff were friendly and helpful. I could help myself to breakfast as it wasn't available as early as I wanted it.
My husband was disappointed there was no bacon with the full English breakfast. But considering it was a free breakfast I don't think he can grumble.
Friendly, helpful staff. Car is shut away behind gates in hotel car park. Short walk to DLR. Free fruit in lobby.
Ssmall room very small shower room, and mainly breakfast. Also I was charged 5% extra for paying by debit card!
Location and staff
The area is unsafe
£5 charge when paying by debit or credit card seems excessive but useful to have the on site cash machine.
We had a very warm welcome from the staff, the bed was very comfortable, liked the complimentary fruit and bottled water available from reception, would stay if visiting the area again.
Location, rates and service. Staff is helpful and polite. Room 201 was alright but clean and cozy. I would certainly recommend it.
