The family room was great. My daughter loved having her own little bedroom. The bath was an awesome size!

Plug was slightly too small for the bath so water slowly leaked out.

I asked for not smoking and got a smoker room which smelled not good. The bedside lamp did not work.

Genuinely friendly staff - always happy to help with extra pillow/duvet, even free upgrade to larger room as I had so much luggage (and without even asking!) Don't be put off by visual first impressions of the place; for the excellent budget category accommodation it provides, it just can't afford to tart itself up to look like Claridges - get past that, and you're in for a warm welcome and a carefree stay.

Being kept awake by loud snorer next door, but on only one of my nine nights, so not really a problem. Ear plugs would have solved it, if I'd remembered them.

very clean and comfortable room. well heated. they didn't do a full english breakfast but its well worth getting up for the continental! overall we enjoyed our stay at the prince hotel and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends and family.

We thought there would be a hairdryer in the room but couldn't find one, we made do without and it was fine

Welcomed by a man in a suit who opened the door for us. We were shown straight the our room instead of being made to pay first, which was nice as you could see what you were getting for your money. The room was lovely with a comfortable bed and a good television. The room was clean and very well maintained.

The breakfast wasn't amazing but it was thrown in with the price if the bedroom so you can't complain really.

The person i met on arrival was friendly pleasant and very helpful. I arrived early before the book in time but they cleaned the room and i was able to get in to the room and have a shower after a long drive, nothing seemed to much trouble for them. The breakfast was described as continental but it was more than that with cerials, fruit, fruit juice, toast and as much tea or coffee as you wanted. The location was first class with just a short bus ride into the City allowing me to leave my car safely parked at the hotel. There are also plenty or reasonably priced places to have an evening meal only a short walking distance away.

The only fault i could find was the phone ringing at various times in the early hours of the morning. But i'm sure that could be overcome by turning of the base ringing tone off, while leaving the cordless phone tone on.

The proprietor was very friendly and helpful, there was a good range of foods for breakfast (no hot food though), plenty of parking.

Excellent Staff, mainly the person at the reception. This is not really a hotel but a Guest House. My room was a very large and good room, very quiet. Good location in order to achieve Town.
