Good value and clean, with free parking, free wifi and a very comfortable bed. It's at the Hove end of town, so a 3-4 km taxi ride to the main drag but is right opposite the famous promenade. I was offered an upgrade to the room I'd booked and the room was really quite spacious with a newish carpet and excellent bedding, a proper size bath with good water pressure and a fantastic sea view. Breakfast buffet was quite varied, hotel bar not bad. Bottom line - it's a 3 star hotel, not luxurious, not central, but good value with all the basics in place.

The sea view room Initially the lights in the room did not work the eception phone was not answered for at least a minute and then when the lights were re started he did not let us know we had to find out for ourselves. A courtesy phone call would have been appreciated.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room comfortable and clean. The only down-side was the noise from the bathroom extractor, which was quite intrusive during the night.

Comfortable, large and clean room with good facilities. As we wanted a hotel on the seafront but a little outside the busy promenade area of Brighton, this fitted the bill with a bus stop outside if we needed it. Good was good, with a generous cooked breakfast available if you wanted this. Staff were friendly making for an enjoyable stay. Parking, as with many Brighton hotels, was problematic - at least there were some free parking places at the hotel if you were lucky enough to get one. Otherwise parking was available on the promenade - free at night but expensive during the day.

Very friendly helpful staff. On returning to the hotel late at night I was frantic for some chocolate and the bar man very kindly found me some chocolate biscuits; I don't think I could have slept without, so a big thankyou. No chocolate for sale at the bar.

The rooms are spacious and has some on site parking if not available there is always local parking which is free from 8pm. It is in easy reach of Brighton and the beach is opposite which must be great for families in the summer. Great Hotel, Fantastic service, would definitely recommend. The walls and floor seem quite thin and you can hear in the morning people going to the toilet and switching on the tv etc.

Locatiom The fact that we were charged 12.95 each for Breakfast which would only have been 5.00 if we had booked online. We had Continental which was already set out.hardly work! We will not be staying ! Best Western again.

Comfortable beds and nice surroundings The hotel was fine apart from the fact that the sound proofing was very poor and noise from other rooms very loud keeping us awake all night. This was despite the fact that I asked for a quiet room. Otherwise all ok.

the location was good, the hotel was very clean and the staff were excellant The beds were very soft, the lights fused in the middle of my shower, leaving me in pitch blackness. The towels were very thin and small and the decor seemed to be from the 50's.
