Location Price Friendly and helpful staff I will definitely come back if I am on a strict budget
Cleaning can be better ( under furniture and on high dusty shelves Internet is not very good in the room Too many chairs in the small room :)
The sheets are too narrow for the bed. The only plug available for phone recharger is on bathroom and it works only when the light and fan are turned on.
Lovely shower and good location
The room was nice and the front staff was very friendly and helpful.
The room was small and had too many extra chairs, which made it even more crowded.
We stayed in London for 3 days before moving over to family in the South. I would stay at the Prince's Hotel again when we return. I really liked the neighborhood location, the shops within walking distance as well as some great restaurants. The underground was three blocks away, as was a money exchange, and a Starbucks, for those jonzing for an American fix. The rooms are small and we didn't have a fixed shower head in our bathroom, but it was comfortable and had everything we needed for the time we were in our room.
For those who want a larger space because of who you are, or what you've brought with you, I would probably find a different place. They do have an elevator, but all of the rooms are quite small, so lots of luggage won't fit.
Very Bad sound-proofing
More of a 3 than a 4 star hotel but conveniently located and overall quite comfortable
Room was small
Everything was perfect
+ position (Queensway underground) + spacious room + daily cleaning + quality staff + wi-fi included
+ spray shower head did not work properly + stained bedspread
The hotel is close to Hyde park and convenient to go anywhere in city center of London. Room is clean and comfortable. It also provide breakfast in reasonable prices. Staff helped us order a pizza. In brief，so satisified with this hotel.
Nice location in a quiet area but near the main street and walking distance to the tube station. Nice restaurants around the hotel and small market makes the place ideal for a short stay. Staff very helpful.
Rooms and access to rooms from corridor are quite small to pass through with luggages.
Staff was friendly Wi fi Excellent Location fantastic. Room is quite good.
Card key never open the door so everytime the receptionist had to come to open the door of my room. Bathroom is old and not so nice.
The location is great: 3mins from the underground, walking distance to West One, numerous restaurants of all types, Whiteley's shopping mall and movies centre; The rooms are a bit tight but very neat and we'll maintained. I didn't eat there so no comments on the food, bit who needs hotel food with all the eating places on Bayswater road just 2mins away? :).
The rooms are somewhat tight; so if you are planning to do some work it may not be convenient.
But the beds are only 190cm like most British beds made for non talls.
10 minutes from subway sometime is OK.
Small closet, small toilet.
I stayed here a couple of years ago when the hotel was undergoing a refit.....what a transformation, excellent. A full sized shower, most unusual in London.
Bathroom/toilet wasn't clean
It doesn't have 4**** requirements according my point of view
It is close to the subway station 5 minutes on foot.
Google map indicated the different place from this hotel. Please take care to check the place. In the night, it is difficult to read the hotel name, because the light locate back side of the hotel plate. When I came back to the room in the evening, room key did not work. It may be battery out. Maintenance person could not repair it, because a manager has already returned home. So, I need to ask a front person to open my room using spare key. Battery should change before its life. The four star hotel should make maintenance such as a key, anytime.
Room was dark. The third bed close to the single glass window was not comfortable to sleep in because of the cool.
Location is handy for Central London
Bathrooms need an upgrade.
The geographic localization is enjoyable. The place is clean and well heated.
Some member of the staff were really unhelpfull, so much that it made me question the four stars... Rooms are quite small, but it's the center of London... An effort could be made on colours and enlightenment of the corridors and room.
Access to rooms no security from lift anyone can come upstairs, no acknowledgement of people coming into reception, could easily walk out with bags held for safe keeping as they are in full view, no tags? When I mentioned that our cups weren't cleaned from the morning before, therefore unable to make a drink in the room the following morning, no apology given , and no alternative refreshment offered . Shower head is so high and was positioned at an angle that completely soaked bathroom, and we couldn't reach it to adjust it! Building lovely, but v noisey outside.
